The legion announced in a statement, today, via its social media channels that its troops killed 15 members of the Syrian army in Ayn Tarma Town, while revealed that all the killed members are from the 4th brigade.

Furthermore, the statement informed that the legion members destroyed two military vehicles belonging to Assad forces, while they were advancing into Ayn Tarma front, Syria News reported.

Meanwhile, media office of Ayn Tarma stated on its Facebook page that Assad forces shelled the town, using ground-to-ground missiles, after failing to advance toward the rebels areas.

It is noteworthy that Assad forces and allied militias are trying to advance into Ayn Tarma and Hay Jober, in an attempt to separate the two neighborhoods from the eastern Ghouta.

America’s Freedom Fighters previously reported that the Islamic State decided to unleash a barrage upon Salamiyah, a predominately Ismaeli (Shia) city in eastern Hama.

In what seemed to be blatant indiscriminate bombings of residential areas, ISIS fired seven GRAD rockets from eastern Hama towards the government stronghold on Wednesday.

Not long after, five civilians were proclaimed dead while over 20 people were rushed to a hospital in downtown Salamiyah, many of whom had sustained shrapnel wounds.

No SAA personnel were hit during the bombardment, a military source told Al-Masdar News. But in response to the attack, SAA artillery units began shelling the suspected launch site used by ISIS militants, located west of their Aqriybat stronghold.

The Russian Air Force has also pounded Aqayrbat in recent days, targeting a number of suspected ISIS hideouts and command centers.

Video footage released by the Syrian Free Press, Friday, shows the Russian Air Force hunting down Islamic State vehicles traveling around ‘Uqayrbat over the last two weeks.

Among the vehicles destroyed in the vehicle was an Islamic State fuel truck that was traveling from rural Homs to the eastern countryside of Hama.

The Syrian Arab Army is expected to launch an offensive in the eastern countryside of Hama in the coming days, as they look to close-in on the Islamic State’s last positions in central Syria.
