ICE’S mission is to protect America from the cross-border crime and illegal immigration that threaten national security and public safety.

In Kansas City, KS, the Mexican consulate located downtown near 16th and Baltimore has illegal immigrants lining up to get documentation.

“We protect folks from being removed from the United States, They’re preparing and part of that preparation is power of attorneys and the other one is birth certificates. If the whole family departs to Mexico to live, that child needs a Mexican birth certificate to attend school.”~Immigration Attorney Sharma Crawford

Sharma-Crawford and his clients remain concerned.

“We have ICE acting in a manner that they haven’t acted in before. If the target is the husband they use to ignore the wife, the kids, the sister-in-law. Now, everybody around them who’s undocumented is being arrested along with them. And that’s a tactical change that we’re seeing.”

To counter ICE,  the Mexican consulates are joining up with law schools, immigration clinics, and nonprofit organizations that specialize in helping foreign nationals. The Mexican government will place attorneys in these facilities to provide assistance to those facing deportation, consulates are also working with private law firms to provide assistance.

Mexico allocates about $54 million to provide services to migrants living in the U.S. to protect illegals against an eventual deportation.

Mexico should be concerned with where to house, feed, clothe, educate and yes incarcerate their citizens being sent back HOME and focus on building sufficient shelters etc.

“If you’re in this country illegally and you committed a crime by being in this country, you should be uncomfortable, you should look over your shoulder. You need to be worried. No population is off the table.”~Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Thomas Homan
