BREAKING: 3 Dem Congressmen Arrested Outside Trump Tower, Look What They Did!

The illegal aliens and so-called immigration activists are growing bolder in their demands for amnesty. Democratic leadership is helping them grow in boldness by granting them an audience and continuing to make promises.

During a protest for what activists have termed a “clean” Dream Act in New York City outside of Trump Tower, ten people were arrested. Of the 10 people arrested, 3 of them are U.S. congressmen. Who were these Congressmen you ask? They were all Democrats (color me NOT surprised!) and two of them were not even local to New York but from Arizona and Illinois.

U.S. Reps Raul Grijalva, of Arizona; Luis Gutierrez, of Illinois; and Adriano Espaillat, of New York, were among a small group of demonstrators who sat down in the street on Fifth Avenue Tuesday afternoon and refused to move.

The Democratic speaker of New York’s City Council, Melissa Mark-Viverito, also was handcuffed and led away.

Gutiérrez said of his arrest in his statement –

“We’re taking the necessary steps to make it clear to President Trump, the Republicans and the Democrats that we will continue this peaceful fight for DREAMers and immigrants as long as it takes to enact legislation and put DREAMers in a safe place.

A few Congressmen and elected-officials gathering in front of Trump Tower doesn’t mean much if it is not backed up by the grassroots and allies and today we are standing with diverse allies to make sure Congress and the President do more than just talk about solutions, they actually follow through with action.”

Since President Trump eliminated DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, earlier this month the protests have been loud and furious. The program protected certain undocumented young people from deportation and granted them work permits. The first permits under that program are set to expire in less than six months.

Gutiérrez was also arrested in front of the White House last month at a rally supporting DACA.  This was just three weeks before President Trump announced he was eliminating the program.

The offices of Reps. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) and Adriano Espaillat (D-NY), as well as New York City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, also confirmed their arrests. Mark-Viverito’s office shared a video of her arrest.
Espaillat released a statement through his director of communications, Candace Randle Person.  Person’s statement says the congressman “stood up for immigrant youth to say loud and clear – unequivocally, that he dedicates his work in Congress to protecting immigrants, immigrant families, and their future in America.”
The protesters were demanding that Congress pass legislation protecting thousands of young immigrants from deportation. Protest organizers had said prior to the event that the lawmakers planned to get arrested. These are people that took an oath to uphold the Constitution and to represent the interests of America yet they are demanding amnesty for people that broke our laws to get here in the first place, have exploited our services, and are now demanding we accommodate them.  These criminals are being assisted by criminals within OUR OWN government!
Other Democrats have recently found out just how high that price is that that they demand. These groups claim that additional funding is necessary and a clean DREAM Act that includes a path to citizenship for immigrant youth, without additional funding for the insecurity that Trump’s immigration agencies are creating at the border.” This is according to a press release from the immigrant advocacy organization, Make the Road New York.

Yet even more illegal aliens disrupted an event held by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Tuesday also demanding a so-called “clean” DREAM Act.

The DREAM Act, first introduced in the Senate in 2001, has never achieved enough Congressional support to reach the President’s desk. But activists and congressional Democrats hope that Trump’s elimination of DACA and his insistence that Congress “legalize” its protections will pave the way for the legislation providing a path to legal status for illegal aliens.

Pelosi called the news conference to urge passage of a bill that would allow hundreds of thousands of “dreamers” to gain permanent legal status in this country.

Yet they screamed at her “Liar,” and held up signs that read: “Democrats are Deporters,” “Undocumented, Unafraid” and “Fight 4 all 11 Million.”

These protesters were not so-called dreamers, instead referring to themselves “undocumented youth” as they thronged the podium where Pelosi was trying to speak. They demanded amnesty for all estimated 11 million illegal aliens in this country. They were also demanding a “clean” immigration bill that “protects immigrant youth without hurting our families.”
