Despite its terror sponsorship, its efforts to destabilize Sunni Arab states, its grotesque human rights record, President Obama has given Iran $150 billion and allowed it to develop nuclear weapons.

Earlier this year, Iran captured a U.S. Navy boat and humiliated our sailors. The Obama administration subsequently paid Iran a $400 million ransom in cash to release the four American sailors.   Upon their release, John Kerry thanked Iran for releasing American sailors who should never have been captured and humiliated.

Showing its gratitude towards the United States, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard continues to harass U.S. naval ships.

U.S. naval ships have had 32 unsafe encounters with the Iranians in the Persian Gulf in 2016, the latest of which took place on Wednesday when a U.S. patrol craft was essentially swarmed by seven Iranian revolutionary guard small boats.

One of Iranian boats came within 100 yards in front of the U.S. navy ship and came to a dead stop in the water, significantly raising the risk of a collision between the U.S. navy ship and the Iranians and raising a good deal of concern at the Pentagon

More from USNI News:

A U.S. Navy patrol coastal ship was harassed by seven Iranian vessels on Sunday and narrowly avoided colliding with one, in the latest in a string of incidents in the Persian Gulf.

Seven Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy (IRGCN) fast in-shore attack craft (FIAC) approached USSFirebolt (PC-10) while it was operating in international waters in the central Persian Gulf on Sept. 4, a defense official told USNI News.

Three of the FIACs maneuvered close to Firebolt, mirroring the ship’s course and speed at a distance of about 500 yards for about eight minutes before leaving. Another FIAC then sped towards Firebolt and stopped directly in front of the ship, causing the Firebolt crew to maneuver to avoid a collision. The U.S. ship and Iranian FIAC came within 100 yards of one another, the defense official said.

The Iranian’s unsafe maneuvers near a United States ship operating in accordance with international law while transiting in international waters created a dangerous, harassing situation that could have led to further escalation including additional defensive measures by Firebolt,” the official told USNI News.

“This type of incident would have led NAVCENT to recommend that the State Department deliver a diplomatic message of protest if this interaction had been with a country with which the United States had an official diplomatic relationship.”

The Iranians just keep getting more and more brazen—a direct result of the lack of leadership from the Commander in Chief. They showing off all their new toys the U.S. just bought for them.

Maybe if Obama pays them another 1.3 billion they will leave us alone.

This was the fourth such incident in less than a month. Four armed speedboats came within 300 yards of the USS Nitze on August 23, three speedboats circled the USS Tempest and USS Squall on August 24, and later that day Iranian harassed the USS Stout and the USS Tempest.

Iran better watch out, Obama will draw another “red line.”
