TEXAS – As we have reported numerous times and you all are aware of, Biden and his party of freaking ANTI-AMERICAN scumbags have done everything they can to open up the southern border at Mexico which has done irreversible damage to our country. 

They are NOT doing this for humanitarian reasons but they believe that these people will vote democrat- even though these people are ILLEGALLY entering the country and have no right to vote.

When the illegitimately sworn in demented, basement dwelling, senile pile of garbage stepped foot in the White House he immediately undid basically EVERYTHING our great PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP who was actually the real 2020 winner accomplished.

So, Biden halted the building of the border wall and has paid contractors and workers NOT to build the wall and has left the uninstalled portions of the wall laying in the dirt.

Meanwhile, the border states are being overwhelmed with an unprecedented invasion of illegals, drugs, crime, diseases and more.

Governor Abbott Designates Mexican Cartels As Terrorist Organizations

Governor Greg Abbott today issued an executive order designating Mexican drug cartels as terrorist organizations and instructing the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to take immediate action to keep Texans safe amid the growing national fentanyl crisis.

At a roundtable discussion and press conference in Midland today, the Governor also sent a letter to President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris requesting federal terrorist classifications for the Sinaloa Cartel and Jalisco New Generation Cartel, as well as other cartels producing and distributing deadly fentanyl.

 

“Fentanyl is a clandestine killer, and Texans are falling victim to the Mexican cartels that are producing it,” said Governor Abbott. “Cartels are terrorists, and it’s time we treated them that way. In fact, more Americans died from fentanyl poisoning in the past year than all terrorist attacks across the globe in the past 100 years. In order to save our country, particularly our next generation, we must do more to get fentanyl off our streets.”

The Governor was joined at the roundtable discussion and press conference by DPS Director Steve McCraw, DPS Regional Director West Texas Region Jose Sanchez, Midland County Judge Terry Johnson, Ector County Sheriff Mike Griffis, Midland County Sheriff Chief Deputy Benny Matlock, Odessa Police Chief Mike Gerke, Midland Police Chief Seth Herman, and Midland Memorial Hospital District Police Chief Steve McNeill.

Governor Abbott also directed DPS and law enforcement agencies to identify Texas gangs that support Mexican drug cartels and seize their assets in order to disrupt cartel networks operating in Texas communities, as thousands of Texans have been poisoned unwittingly by counterfeit pills laced with the deadly synthetic opioid.

With Mexican drug cartels disguising fentanyl as counterfeit pills and targeting children with “rainbow fentanyl” pills, the Governor emphasizes in his letter that immediate decisive action is needed from the Biden Administration to combat this deadly crisis impacting the nation.

Yesterday, the Governor sent a letter to state agency leaders directing them to ramp up efforts to combat the fentanyl crisis by preparing for the next legislative session with statutory changes, budget priorities, and other initiatives that will enhance Texas’ ability to combat fentanyl deaths across the state. The letter further directs state agencies to coordinate efforts to raise awareness of fentanyl’s lethality and prevalence.

Governor Abbott Directs State Agencies To Ramp Up Anti-Fentanyl Efforts

Governor Abbott today sent a letter to state agency leaders directing them to ramp up state efforts to combat the deadly fentanyl crisis impacting communities across Texas and the nation. With an 89% increase in fentanyl-related deaths reported in Texas in 2021 compared to 2020, the deadly synthetic opioid is endangering Texans of all ages. This deadly drug is being trafficked into Texas by Mexican cartels, which are disguising the pills to look like legitimate prescription drugs and even candy to target children.

“Fentanyl’s potency and deceptiveness, combined with the federal government’s unwillingness to take border security seriously, pose a grave threat to Texans,” reads the letter. “We must take all appropriate actions to inform Texans of this danger and prevent additional deaths. Together we can help bring awareness to the threat posed by fentanyl and do our part to address this crisis.”

As the Texas Legislature prepares for the next session, Governor Abbott ordered state agencies to outline statutory changes, budget priorities, and other initiatives that will enhance the state’s ability to interdict the synthetic opioid, provide emergency overdose treatment, and expand substance abuse treatment programs. Agencies can coordinate with the Texas Opioid Abatement Fund Council to further amplify efforts.

Governor Abbott also directed relevant state agencies to begin coordinating efforts to raise awareness of fentanyl’s lethality and prevalence. Agency leaders are instructed to inform the Texans they serve of the full dangers of fentanyl by taking actions such as developing public service announcements, posting flyers in prominent locations around regulated facilities, training staff, and providing educational opportunities to the people agencies serve.
