Abandon All Hope For Health Care Reform? Not So Fast…

President Trump tweeted that the final say in the battle to repeal Obamacare has yet to be spoken.  Taking to his favorite platform, Twitter, the MAGA President made his views clear: “ObamaCare will explode and we will all get together and piece together a great healthcare plan for THE PEOPLE,” Trump tweeted. “Do not worry!”

Yesterday, AFF Media reported on the Speaker’s admission to his failure to navigate the bill through the various Republican factions in the House.  Ryan, while facing reporters with a look of shame in his eye, announced that “we’re going to be living with ObamaCare for the foreseeable future.”

Paul Ryan is now staring at a bleak (and perhaps short) future in the House.  There are growing calls to replace the Speaker with Rep. Trey Gowdy and on the homefront, voters are beginning to regret not electing his Republican challenger Paul Nehlan.

As for the president, things are certainly being taken in stride.  He has allegedly reached out to Democrats and is preparing a bipartisan push for an Obamacare overhaul.  Some Democrats have already spoken in favor of a bipartisan deal — most notably, Ohio’s Rep. Tim Ryan has spoken of the need for reform.

Meanwhile, President Trump will continue to move forward with his agenda, mindful that this is a game of inches and that he has plenty of other fronts to wage war on.  Expect him to make moves and marshal the troops towards tax reform in the coming week.
