DEVELOPING ALERT: 4 Shot Including 2 Children, Police Describe As “Very Active”


Virginia Beach, Virginia — Police responded to a shooting scene with multiple victims in Virginia Beach Sunday night. They have described the incident as a “very active scene.”


​On November 8th, 2020 at 5:30 pm Virginia Beach Emergency Communications received reports of gunfire with injuries to a child in the 3700 block of Whitney Court.


As officers arrived on scene, they located another injured child and two adults that were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both children are under the age of 12.  EMS transported all the victims to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, which appeared to be non-life threatening.

There is no suspect information at this time.

This investigation is being actively investigated, there are no further details that can be provided at this time.
