North Korea delivered a fresh round of rhetoric Thursday with claims it had “powerful striking means, capable of fighting any war the U.S. wants” on standby for a launch, while Seoul and Washington speculated that the country is preparing to test more ICBM’s.

North Korea news reported that, the Paektusan army is now “on the standby to launch fire into its mainland, waiting for an order of final attack.  The U.S. finds itself in an ever worsening dilemma, being thrown into the grip of extreme security unrest by the DPRK. This is tragicomedy of its own making. … If the Trump administration does not want the American empire to meet its tragic doom in its tenure, they had better talk and act properly.”

U.S. intelligence, North Korea is fully ready to fire off a missiles capable of hitting U.S. military bases in Japan and Guam.

“North Korea has been, with its bellicose rhetoric, with its actions … skating very close to a dangerous line,” U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said in Washington on Wednesday. “Their actions and their words have not helped defuse a combustible situation.”

Bracing for a launch, which officials said could take place at any time, Seoul deployed three naval destroyers, an early warning surveillance aircraft and a land-based radar system, Fox News reports.

“If he utters one threat in the form of an overt threat — which by the way he has been uttering for years and his family has been uttering for years — or he does anything with respect to Guam or anyplace else that’s an American territory or an American ally, he will truly regret it and he will regret it fast.” ~POTUS Donald Trump

When a reporter asked the President if the U.S. is going to go to war with North Korea, the President simply responded: “I think you know the answer to that.”

Meanwhile, US military forces “stand ready” to safeguard Guam after the North threatened to fire ballistic missiles toward the American Pacific island territory, the White House said.

It said Trump “reassured” Guam Governor Eddie Calvo in a phone call that the US military would “ensure the safety and security of the people of Guam, along with the rest of America.”

“We are with you a thousand per cent,” Trump said, according to video of the call posted on Calvo’s Facebook page. “You are safe.” Calvo responded by saying he feels safe and confident with Trump’s leadership: “I’m glad you’re holding the helm, sir.”
