Sassy Liberty AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –

It has been a seriously bad week for Anthony Scaramucci.  Scaramucci was fired from his position as Communications Director for the Trump administration just ten days after he was hired for the position.  During that same ten day period, he was served with divorce papers, missed the birth of his child, all while ranting like a man possessed to Ryan Lizza at The New Yorker.

The icing on the cake came yesterday just after he received his walking papers from President Trump.  CBS reported that Harvard Law School apologized for erroneously listing Anthony Scaramucci as dead in its new alumni directory.

Yes, to top off everything Harvard Law School in a directory mailed to alumni this week included an asterisk by the name of Scaramucci. He is a 1989 graduate of the university located in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  The asterisk indicates he is deceased.

The law school released a statement after they declared “the Mooch” dead, apologizing for the error.

“Regrettably, there is an error in the Harvard Law School alumni directory in the listing for Anthony Scaramucci. We offer our sincere apologies to Mr. Scaramucci. The error will be corrected in subsequent editions.”

No explanation for the error was provided.  The directory is published every five years for alumni of the Ivy League law school.

The Boston Globe reported, “While Scaramucci may want to hide in a hole following his recent difficulties, he isn’t dead.”

Meanwhile, President Trump declared to the Twitter-verse that it was “A great day at the White House” and as typically happens President Trump was blamed for all that ails Scaramucci.

A White House statement says he left so the new chief of staff, retired Marine general John Kelly, could build his own team. Others have humorously suggested that Harvard Law School merely meant to describe Scaramucci’s firing and thus his political career is “dead” and Scaramucci now “sleeps with the fishes.” Either way, while Scaramucci has indeed had a bad week, it has not been quite as bad as Harvard Law School alumni directory might suggest.
