President Trump signed the $2.3 trillion COVID-19 relief and government funding bill that includes $600 stimulus checks for most Americans. The interesting thing is he has invoked the ‘Impoundment Control Act of 1974’ that allows changes to the bill, including increasing payments from $600 to $2,000 (see below).

The nearly 5,600-page bill passed the House and Senate a few hours after its text was released. You can bet not one person in Congress even read the bill.

The bill authorizes direct checks of $600 for people earning up to $75,000 per year, and people who make over $95,000 get nothing.

President Trump said via a statement released tonight that Congress would vote tomorrow on a separate bill to “increase payments to individuals from $600 to $2,000.”

Freshman Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who recently announced that she would object to the electoral votes for Joe Biden when it goes to Congress for a vote on January 6, has a pretty strong opinion about which states should and should not be receiving federal COVID relief funds. Most Americans who are watching businesses being destroyed by far-left Democrat governors in states like MI, NY, and CA over COVID lockdowns, will likely agree with the newly elected, badass US lawmaker.

Greene tweeted:

Greene concluded her tweet by emphasizing, “NO MORE SHUTDOWNS!”

Greene, who came under fire for a Facebook ad campaign ad targeting “The [Socialist] Squad” while holding a gun in her hand, is no doubt, going to shake things up in Congress.

Last week, Greene tweeted that President Trump “deserves his day in court, AND we are definitely going to give him his day in Congress,” along with a powerful video.
