Joe Biden’s handlers have reminded Americans again just how much they hate the Constitution and, in particular, that pesky Second Amendment, because an armed populace is a lot harder to control.

Using the anniversary of the school shootings in Parkland, Fla., to push for new gun control, Biden’s handlers issued a statement.

“The Parkland students and so many other young people across the country who have experienced gun violence are carrying forward the history of the American journey. It is a history written by young people in each generation who challenged prevailing dogma to demand a simple truth: we can do better. And we will,” the man playing president ‘said.’

“This Administration will not wait for the next mass shooting to heed that call. We will take action to end our epidemic of gun violence and make our schools and communities safer. Today, I am calling on Congress to enact commonsense gun law reforms, including requiring background checks on all gun sales, banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, and eliminating immunity for gun manufacturers who knowingly put weapons of war on our streets,” the statement continued.

The Epoch Times provides more details:

Biden said during the 2020 campaign that he supports stronger gun control and last week administration officials met with gun control advocates, including Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action, and John Feinblatt, president of Everytown.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters afterwards that the administration is ready to move on the ‘ambitious plan’ Biden laid out during the campaign.

This tired, predictable, and completely irresponsible statement comes three years after a high school kid with a history of anger issues and mental health problems, Nikolas Cruz, killed 17 students and school personnel.

Something like 85 million gun owners that day — many armed with those dreaded “assault weapons” — didn’t kill anyone that day. Or anyone since.

But who cares, right? Those are just details. Democrats have gun-ban lust on their minds, so let’s call all of this what it is, just the latest Democrat attempt to disarm America so these Stalin wannabes can control us like China controls its unarmed population.

Thank goodness some jurisdictions, like one Missouri county, are already flipping the Biden regime the ol’ high hard middle finger.
