Black Supremacist Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D) of Saint Louis County has called for the assassination of President Trump

Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens joined calls Friday for state Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal to be expelled from the legislature after saying she hopes President Trump is assassinated, Fox News reports.

The Republican governor put out a string of tweets noting that lawmakers have called on the Democratic lawmaker to resign and urged the Senate to kick her out if she refuses.

“Senator Chappelle-Nadal said she hopes the President is killed. Republicans and Democrats have called on her to resign,” he wrote. “… Last night, in an interview, she refused to apologize—twice.”

“If she will not resign, the Senate can vote to remove her. I believe they should.”

As America’s Freedom Fighters reported, the Missouri state senator called for the assassination of President Trump on Facebook, then later deleted it.

We posted a screenshot of a Facebook discussion between Maria Chappelle-Nadal (D) of Saint Louis County and another user.

The other user, Christopher Gagne, wrote that his cousin is on the presidential Secret Service detail, saying that he is upset his six-year contract includes two years with “idiot” Trump.

“He did his first four with Obama and has two to go… I truly believe this will happen sooner, not later,” Gagne wrote.

Gagne then said he expects a visit from the Secret Service after the remark, to which Chapelle-Nadal responded, “No. I will. I hope Trump is assassinated.”

“I posted something on my personal Facebook and I should not have done that, and for that I am sorry for that,” Chapelle-Nadal told St. Louis television station KMOV. “But I am not going to shy away from what caused that anger at all, I’m not going to shy away from that.”

U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill, U.S. Rep. William Lacy Clay and other top Missouri Democrats called Thursday for the resignation of fellow Democrat Maria Chappelle-Nadal, a state senator from University City, for posting a Facebook comment stating: “I hope Trump is assassinated!”

“I condemn it,” McCaskill said in a brief emailed statement. “It’s outrageous. And she should resign.”

“(C)alling for the assassination of the President is a federal crime,” noted Clay, a St. Louis based-congressman who Chappelle-Nadal unsuccessfully challenged in last year’s Democratic primary. He called her “an embarrassment to our state,” adding: “She should resign immediately.”

Another St. Louis Democrat, state Rep. Joshua Peters, issued a letter to the Missouri House committee that deals with member ethics asking for Chappelle-Nadal’s removal from office, calling her “an embarrassment nationally for the Missouri General Assembly.”

Among other top Democrats to slam Chappelle-Nadal was Missouri Party Chair Stephen Webber, who called her comments “indefensible.”

In response to those and a growing list of other calls for her to step down, Chappelle-Nadal told the Post-Dispatch: “I am not resigning . . . What I said was wrong, but I am not going to stop talking about what led to that, which is the frustration and anger that many people across America are feeling right now.”

But Chappelle-Nadal told KMOX Radio she won’t quit.

“There is no way in hell that I’m resigning,” she said.

The U.S. Secret Service confirmed it is investigating her Facebook post.
