Rappers have odd names and aren’t really known for being even slightly intelligent when it comes to politics but this black dude seems to get it- sort of.

Dude’s name is ‘Ice Cube…’ Lol. It’s pretty hard to take something serious from a guy that named himself after a small piece of ice.

But he had some good words for our president so I thought I’d share them.

He sat down with Bloomberg Politics to discuss Trump’s appeal to the masses:

“Donald Trump is what Americans love. Donald Trump is what Americans aspire to be – rich, powerful, do what you wanna do, say what you wanna say, be how you wanna be.”

“That’s kind of been like the American dream. He looks like a boss to everybody, and Americans love to have a boss.“

Rapper and actor Ice Cube sat down with Bloomberg Politics’ John Heilemann for a wide-ranging “With All Due Respect” interview. The new Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee talked about hip hop culture, movies and how his band N.W.A. was a politically defiant act. He also weighed in on 2016 politics, discussing Bernie Sanders, Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and the Black Lives Matter movement.

If Ice Cube wants to keep all that money he makes, he may want to consider Donald Trump for president.
