Former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole needs our prayers.
Apparently, the 94-year-old former Senator was hospitalized, and he’s been there for at least a week, according to reports. The former Republican candidate for president was admitted to Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland after his blood pressure dropped following a routine check-up.

“Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. I hope to be home sipping a cosmo in a few days,” Dole tweeted early Friday, in response to a tweet from his wife’s “Dole Foundation” account.

Apparently, Dole remains in good spirits despite his current health condition.

His wife Elizabeth tweeted through the Dole Foundation that she would be missing this year’s Invictus Games because she needed to be with her husband.
“Sorry to miss #InvictusGames2017. I’m with my husband, @SenatorDole, at the hospital. Please pray for his speedy recovery,” his wife, former Sen. Elizabeth Dole, R-N.C., had tweeted Friday.

Hopefully, everything works out for Mr. Dole. We’ll be praying for his speedy recovery.
