UNITED KINGDOM — Officers at Spalding Police Station called in the bomb disposal unit today when a man entered the police station holding a hand grenade.

The resident brought the grenade to police as part of their liberal program of turning in all weapons designed for protection.

Lincolnshire Police want people to give up any firearms, ammunition, war memorabilia and imitation weapons because after all, protecting yourselves and your family is illegal in that liberal part of the world.

RUN, HIDE TAKE COVER!

LMAO MAN! WHAT LIMEY MORONS!!!

The sheep can turn in their weapons from July 3 to July 10 without fear of prosecution.

Oh gee, THANKS! I’LL PACK UP ALL MY GUNS AND AMMO AND BRING THEM RIGHT DOWN!

Police say it is a chance for people to unburden their conscience about unwanted or unlicensed guns in their homes.

Their conscience? Unbelievable…

This comes after Spalding police station had to be closed last week as a resident brought in a live WW2 mortar shell that had been in their attic for years, Lincolnshire Live reports.

The building on Westlode Street was closed to the public on Wednesday July 5 from noon until the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team (EOD) arrived to carry out tests on the wartime bombing device at 2pm.

Speaking about the amnesty week, temporary Super Intendent Phil Vickers said: “This is a chance for people to really think about whether they want to hold on to their weapons, and as a reminder to check that they still have the legal right to do so.

“One less firearm means one less opportunity for tragedy. The potential for the weapon to cause accidental injury, to fall into the wrong hands or be used in a suicide is removed.”

All weapons should be placed in a bag, although unstable items such as grenades should not to be taken into the stations due to their instability.

Lol. What idiots.

God Bless.
