Impeach Maxine Waters?

The “Impeach Maxine Waters” movement has arrived….at Maxine Waters’ home! Just ask the protesters that are currently surrounding her house.

Waters has a record of radicalism, corruption and head-scratching gaffes that truly makes one wonder if her elevator goes all the way to the top.  She has been militant in calling for the impeachment of President Trump but now there are those calling for her to be kicked out of office.

Standing outside of Water’s ritzy L.A. home located in the Hancock Park neighborhood there are more than a dozen protesters, a mariachi band, and her former congressional opponent in the 2016 election, Omar Navarro.  Navarro was beaten when he ran against Waters in 2016 but is apparently gearing up for round two in 2018.

Navarro states –

“‘Hashtag Impeach Maxine’. See Maxine is talking about impeaching President Donald Trump and yet she doesn’t ask herself what about her? What about her not doing her job for 35 years?”

It seems it has not gone unnoticed by Waters’ constituents that while the district that she represents is primarily Black and Latino, she herself chooses to reside in a 3 million dollar mansion in Hancock Park outside of her district.  The demographics of Hancock Park are 71% White and only 3.8% Black. It seems Waters’ hypocrisy is showing…..

Key members of the black community, as well as Latinos for Trump, are outside Waters home, demanding her resignation.

Many voices could be heard shouting –

“She is not representing her constituents, especially the black constituents.”

“She thinks by putting down our president, we’re going to like her more. Every time she talks, she makes me want to throw up.”

Some important things to note about Waters’ herself so you will understand just HOW radical she really is —

  • Waters has a 28% liberty score on Conservative Review‘s scorecard. Note there are several California congressional members with lower liberty scores, however, that simply demonstrates just how radical California is.
  • Waters has praised the late Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. “Viva Fidel!” Waters chanted in 2000 when the brutal dictator spoke at a church in Harlem. Waters also has a history of opposing the trade embargo on Cuba and was in favor of extraditing 6-year-old Elian Gonzalez to Cuba in 1999.
  • Waters also cast her vote for a resolution calling for Castro to extradite cop-killer Assata Shakur to the United States, however, once she learned that Shakur is actually former Black Panther member Joanne Chesimard, Waters sent a letter to Castro apologizing for her vote.
  • Waters referred to the 1992 Los Angeles riots as a “rebellion.” “If you call it a riot, it sounds like it was just a bunch of crazy people who went out and did bad things for no reason,” Waters said. “I maintain it was somewhat understandable, if not acceptable. So I call it a rebellion.” Funny, but I’m sure Reginald Denny and millions of business and property owners and others that were hurt or killed didn’t share her feelings.
  • Waters has a history of corruption. Waters helped steer bailout money in 2008 toward OneUnited. She failed to disclose that her husband, Sidney Williams, owned OneUnited stock and used to be a board member of the bank. Additionally, in 2002 Waters attempted to pressure regulators to block a merger between the Family Savings bank and FBOP Corp., to open the door for the Boston Bank of Commerce – the name of OneUnited at the time – to merge with Family Savings. While the regulators did not uphold her request, Waters’ public campaign eventually resulted in the Boston Bank of Commerce merging with Family Savings into OneUnited. Waters and her husband bought OneUnited stock in 2004.

Waters has been making some horrendous gaffes since the election. These include but are not limited to the following:

1. She didn’t know the name of Trump’s chief of staff.
“Let me just say this, Mike Preibus…”

2. When she told reporters that Russia invaded Korea.
“The fact that he is wrapping his arms around Putin while Putin is continuing to advance into Korea.”

3. When she called Trump and his aides a bunch of ‘scumbags.’
“This is a bunch of scumbags. That’s what they are.”

4. Waters revealed her greatest desire.
“And my greatest desire is to lead him right into impeachment.”

5. She referred to Trump as a dictator.
“People are not gonna take this new president who thinks he’s a dictator.”

6. Her hope that Trump’s presidency is cut short.
“Well, I hope he’s not there for four years.”

7. How she gives President Trump no respect.
“I won’t rejoice in him being the president, I don’t honor him, and so I did not go to that inauguration. Never intended to go to it.”

8. When she came up with a new nickname for Trump and his aides.
“He can’t continue to try to defend this president, who is entangled with this Kremlin clan of his, while they are all seeking really to get rid of these sanctions that are placed on Russia because all of them are connected to the oil and gas industry.”
