BREAKING: California Just Passed MASSIVE New Gun Law… Comply Or Go To Prison #2A #NRA

In Los Angeles, CA, Liberal Mayor Eric Garcetti signed a “high capacity” magazine ban into law on August 7. The city’s population have to dispose the banned mags before November 20.

Congrats Mayor, now the crime rate will escalate and criminals will flourish. Just another stupid move to limit law abiding citizens the right to defend themselves. Betcha that Mayor has a few firearms and bodyguards that have magazines holding more than 10 rounds.

The language of the law explains that “large-capacity magazines … hold numerous rounds of ammunition [which] significantly increases the lethal capacity of … automatic and semiautomatic firearms.” It does not mention that Elliot Rodger–Santa Barbara, May 2014–used only ten-round magazines to carry out the heinous attack in which he shot and killed three innocents.

According to the NRA-ILA, the “high capacity” magazine ban goes into effect on September 19 and will give citizens until November 20 to sell the magazines in their position or otherwise “remove them from the city or turn them over to Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).”

Three exceptions to the law are:

1) Any feeding device that has been permanently altered so that it cannot hold more than 10 rounds;

2) Any .22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device; and

3) Any tubular magazine that is contained in a lever-action firearm.

NRA-ILA urges owners of “high capacity” magazines in L.A. to check all laws–state and municipal–before simply giving their magazines to family and friends outside the city for storage, as there is a danger of “unlawful transfer.”

Ten rounds are good bullets that can only be uses for righteous purposes, but better watch out for that 11th round, it’s pure evil! What a ignorant law to be passed. Like I said before, it is just another step in controlling our 2nd Amendment rights and taking it away piece by piece.

What will the liberals do when this new law fails to reduce crime? We think the answer is VERY clear- They’ll just pass MORE meaningless gun control laws. You see, that’s how liberals solve problems. Just keep doing things that just don’t work.

Since the mayor is in a banning mood, when will they sign a law banning high-criminal capacity illegal aliens from the city?

    Ban all politicians!!

  2. Go ahead and enforce it. You’ll run out of fools fast and the ones left will be irritated at you.

  3. Vunderkint says:

If the people of LA don’t rise up and kick these bastards out of their local government they deserve what they get, what freedom loving individual would even still be living in that leftist loony bin?

Civil disobedience, how the hell would they know who has what magazines? I say stock up and make them enforce it!

  4. Olddood Chaffe says:

What in the hell is going on in Commiefornia, have they lost their ever loving minds, follow the buzzards so the criminal can pick your bones !!!!!

  5. The Los Angeles criminal enterprise is dancing in the streets and of the fools that comply, then you get what you deserve. Next it will be lowered to 5 shot magazines, then single shot musket.

LOS ANGELES! It is not the law abiding gun owner citizens that are killing people. It is the criminal.

  6. Jim Gardner says:

Excuse me, I may be wrong, but you can’t make any law that will retroactively make someone a criminal! I would NOT get rid of any mags that are legal today.

  7. Charles Mitchell says:

Based on the Ex-Post-Facto Clause of the Constitution making a law like this that makes something a crime that wasn’t previously a crime is UN-CONSTITUTIONAL !!!! The Citizens that are brought up on charges on this NEW crime will have it overturned in court. Further the prisons are soo overcrowded that there is NO WHERE to house new criminals of high capacity magazines even IF they could arrest everyone. The prison system is “BROKE”. Let them try and enforce this law!

  8. Barbieq Boots says:

There is no ban. It is illegal and has no bind on anyone. The Mayor has committed a crime in that he has changed the Constitution of the United States without the approval of a ratified national amendment. He is just another blow-hard. Do not follow his illegal lawlessness!

  9. Gun laws never stop criminals, most progressive liberals can not understand those concepts with there pea brains ,

  10. Marshall Sattler says:

Well maybe the folks in California will open their eyes to what kind of leftest government they have..Registration will be next ,then collection. You voted for them, and the people out west say Texas is crazy the way we feel about guns maybe they should push their politicians to be the way we forced ours to be.

  11. Patriot2016 says:

just send the mags to me , i’ll keep them safe for you lol. Come on Cali hurry up and get that earth quake and drop off into the ocean that should help with dumb ass laws like this. I’d keep mine anyway and tell them to go to hell. That law is Unconstitutional.

  12. Making a law that something, that was previously legal to own, is now illegal is very much unconstitutional. More importantly I would like to see how many idiots actually comply with this insane law. NYC tried something very similar with certain weapons. I remember the compliance rate was less than 1% if memory serves me correctly. Does anybody have the actual numbers? i know it was very tiny amount. I suspect this magazine thing will have the same result. Civil dis-obedience through non-compliance. What will these LA idiots do then? arrest a whole city of millions?

So we can fire the Feds!

  14. Timothy Q Williams says:

It is amazing to me, that the GOV thinks this really works to lower crime. There are 35 known gangs in LA according to Wikipedia, You can bet none of these gangs will pay any attention to these new laws, or any criminal will pay attention to the law. Maybe they should look at KENNESAW, Ga – Several Kennesaw officials attribute a drop in crime in the city over the past two decades to a law that requires residents to have a gun in the house. In 1982, the Kennesaw City Council unanimously passed a law requiring heads of households to own at least one firearm with ammunition. The ordinance states the gun law is needed to “protect the safety, security and general welfare of the city and its inhabitants.” Yes they armed the people of Kennesaw and crime dropped, CRIMINALS like unarmed victims.

  15. You Californicators need to vote with your feet & get the hell out of the Granola bowl, thereby destroying the voter base & in turn the tax revenues – just don’t move to Arizona, it’s too damned hot & dusty there, they don’t like unions & the pay is low here…. I mean THERE!!!!

  16. Rich Reason says:

Why do they not come up with crime control I am tired of illegal gun control. When they decide like in the ferguson case to let all the looters off all charges dropped and they wonder why crime is up. What a bunch of dumb shits all gun control does is limit law abiding citizens there right to protect the self from the criminals they let loose!

  17. Get rid of that mayor! he doe NOT have the safety of his constituents in mind. If need be, physically remove him and drop him in the Ghetto!
