BREAKING: Illegals Obama PROTECTED Just Received DEVASTATING News, Trump To Start…

Barack Obama was keen on protecting people who weren’t even supposed to be in the country, but he’s not in office any longer.

Thankfully, Americans revolted against the status quo and sent President Trump to Washington to end the open borders policies from the former White House squatter, and once again he appears to be following through on his promises. On the campaign trail, the President suggested he’d be taking another look at the policies allowing non-criminal illegals to remain in the country, and according to a report from Reuters, he’s doing exactly that.

The Trump administration has moved to reopen the cases of hundreds of illegal immigrants who, like Velasquez, had been given a reprieve from deportation, according to government data and court documents reviewed by Reuters and interviews with immigration lawyers.

Trump signaled in January that he planned to dramatically widen the net of illegal immigrants targeted for deportation, but his administration has not publicized its efforts to reopen immigration cases.

Between March 1 and May 31, prosecutors moved to reopen 1,329 cases, according to a Reuters’ analysis of data from the Executive Office of Immigration Review, or EOIR. The Obama administration filed 430 similar motions during the same period in 2016.

The report comes on the heels of Homeland security Secretary John Kelly stating that Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) protected individuals can and will face deportation if they fail to reregister or something happens to jeopardize their status.

The Washington Examiner reported:

Mr. Kelly declined to take a position on whether the 2012 amnesty President Obama created for Dreamers is legal, but said the program, known in government circles as DACA or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, is still in effect.

He said “illegals” who have been properly approved for DACA will be safe from deportation, but said those who haven’t applied, and some who were approved despite having criminal records that should make them ineligible, will be deported.

Interestingly enough, one such case happens to be making its way through the courts as we speak.

One of those Dreamers, Jessica Colotl, will be in federal court Thursday asking a judge to reinstate her DACA status after it was revoked earlier this year.

Her case could determine whether DACA is a discretionary grant that can be revoked, as the Obama and Trump administrations have argued, or whether it’s a right enforceable by the courts.

“When my DACA status was taken away from me, it basically took my life away,” Ms. Colotl said on a conference call with reporters Wednesday. “It was an arbitrary decision. I had been granted DACA before and nothing about my circumstances had changed.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said last month that Ms. Colotl had pleaded guilty to a felony — lying to a police officer — in Georgia, which disqualifies her from DACA. ICE began to reconsider her case last year, under Mr. Obama, but made the revocation this year under Mr. Trump.

Say what you will about President Trump, but unlike traditional politicians, he appears to be trying to follow through on the promises he made to We the People – something we haven’t seen from a politician since I can remember.
