Dean James AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS–
ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?!?
Six years ago ESPN caved to political correctness and canned the great Hank Williams Jr. from “Monday Night Football” for his comments about the liberal messiah Barack Hussein Obama.
ESPN dropped Williams in 2011 after he compared Obama golfing with then-House Speaker John Boehner to Adolf Hitler golfing with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Williams said Obama and Vice President Biden are “the enemy.”
He was right!
Well, Obama’s gone and HANK IS BACK!!! HELL YEAH!
ESPN says a new version of Williams’ longtime “MNF” theme- “All My Rowdy Friends Are Here on Monday Night” and its “Are you ready for some football?” catchphrase will debut before the first regular-season Monday night game on September 11 where the New Orleans Saints will play the Minnesota Vikings.
The network says in a statement that it’s bringing back what it calls “most iconic music video in sports television history” because fans missed it.
“It was the original,”ESPN executive Stephanie Druley told The USA TODAY NETWORK-Tennessee. “It belongs to Monday Night Football. It really is about returning to what fans know. It’s a Monday night party and that’s what we’re all hoping to get back to.”
Druley told USA Today Network-Tennessee that she’s not concerned about any backlash over Williams’ return.
Williams reportedly told his fans during a concert in Texas back in 2012, “We’ve got a Muslim for a president who hates cowboys, hates cowgirls, hates fishing, hates farming, loves gays, and we hate him!”
Damn right! LMAO
Anyways, I think this is a smart move for ESPN.
Now if they would boot all the libs from their programs I might watch them again.
