As Democrats feverishly demand Roy Moore step away from the Senate race in Alabama over alleged misconduct, new allegations are surfacing about one of their own, and there’s photographic evidence of it.

If you’re unaware, Moore was accused by several women of committing inappropriate acts nearly 40 years ago, and unsurprisingly they’re coming forward now, right before a must-win election for the Democrats. After the allegations came to light, scores of Republicans and Democrats alike have demanded Moore step aside, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell even threatened to remove Moore if he still wins the election.

With that in mind, one has to wonder if sitting Minnesota Sen. Al Franken is going to be removed from his position in the Senate, after a woman came forward with proof that he sexually assaulted her during a trip overseas to benefit the troops.

Anyone want to take bets they won’t?

Leeann Tweeden accused Franken of groping her, without her consent, while she was asleep and provided a photo as evidence.

Apparently the sickening incident occurred in 2006, when Tweeden and Franken were overseas on a USO Tour.

“I felt violated all over again. Embarrassed. Belittled. Humiliated,” she wrote of seeing the picture again for the first time recently. “How dare anyone grab my breasts like this and think it’s funny?”

Tweeden wrote that Franken, who was the headliner on the tour, had written some skits and told her he had a part for her, adding that she “agreed to play along.”

“When I saw the script, Franken had written a moment when his character comes at me for a ‘kiss’. I suspected what he was after, but I figured I could turn my head at the last minute, or put my hand over his mouth, to get more laughs from the crowd,” she wrote.

“On the day of the show Franken and I were alone backstage going over our lines one last time. He said to me, ‘We need to rehearse the kiss.’ I laughed and ignored him. Then he said it again. I said something like, ‘Relax Al, this isn’t SNL…we don’t need to rehearse the kiss.’”

She wrote Franken continued to insist and she got “uncomfortable.”

“He repeated that actors really need to rehearse everything and that we must practice the kiss. I said ‘OK’ so he would stop badgering me. We did the line leading up to the kiss and then he came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth,” she wrote.

“I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldn’t be so nice about it the next time.”

For what it’s worth, Franken released a statement regarding the photo, claiming he doesn’t have the same recollection of events that Tweeden does.

Meanwhile, rumors are already swirling that there’s more women planning to come forward and accuse Franken of sexual impropriety.

“I’ve already heard about a second Al Franken victim.”
