BREAKING: Trump Makes BOMBSHELL Announcement… No One EVER Expected THIS

On Tuesday, Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump announced who his vice presidential pick is and Americans are going to love it!

Donald Trump named Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) as the right man for the job!

“Ted Cruz is now agreeing with me 100 percent,” he said when asked about his vice presidential pick by Laura Ingraham’s website, Lifezette.

“Well, I like like him,” Trump said Tuesday on “The Laura Ingraham Show.” “He’s backed everything I’ve said … Ted Cruz is now agreeing with me 100 percent.”

It’s true. From immigration to the Iran nuke deal to Islamic extremism the dynamic duo are on the same page.

Unlike most of the Republican presidential hopefuls, Cruz has mostly refrained from attacking Trump, even appearing alongside him at a rally in September against the Iran nuclear deal, The Hill notes.

Still, Trump suggested late Monday that he will turn on Cruz if he becomes a threat to his front-runner status.

“If he catches on, I guess we’ll have to go to war,” he told host Joe Kernen on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”

Trump was clear on who he thought would not be getting the nomination, dismissing the chances of both Sen. Marco Rubio and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.

“Rubio is not going to be the one … it’s not going to be Rubio,” Trump said, “Rubio is very, very weak on immigration — a member of the Gang of Eight.”

And as far as Bush goes, Trump noted that even though “you can’t watch television without seeing a (Bush) ad, all paid for by special interests and lobbyists,” he believes Jeb’s campaign is a done deal. I agree.

Trump and Cruz are also both on the same page in opposing President Obama’s plan to resettle hundreds of thousand of Syrian refugees in the United State and said that Germany’s decision to accept the refugees is going to “destroy” that country.

“Look what Merkel has done in Germany,” he said, citing the German leaders resettlement plan for as many as 800,000 Syrians migrants.

“Taking these people is absolute insanity,” Trump said. “There are going to be riots over there.”

Trump suggested that Obama, who faces growing criticism of his refugees plan and his handling of ISIS, sounded like he had thrown in the towel during his news conference on Monday.

“He’s supposed to be a cheerleader for this country,” Trump said. Instead, “he just acts like a defeated man.”

My good friend Sean Brown at Mad World News adds:

In my opinion, if Cruz and Trump partner up for the 2016 ticket, they’ll be almost unstoppable in their quest for the White House since they’ll attract people from both the far-right and the center, plus the millennials, who Trump enjoys wide support from. Additionally, Cruz’s devotion to the constitutional principles that made our nation great to begin with would keep Trump in check, which would likely make him more appealing to those worrying about him overstepping his authority as president.

Either way, a constitutional conservative and a very successful businessman leading our nation would undoubtedly “Make America Great Again,” and it’s a ticket I would be more than excited to vote into office.
