BREAKING: Trump’s Campaign Manager Just Got HORRIBLE News, Look What Caught Up To Him

In absolutely shocking news, the campaign manager for Donald Trump, Corey Lewandowski, received some horrible news first-thing Tuesday morning that has people shaking their heads.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Lewandowski was arrested and formerly charged with misdemeanor battery for the alleged assault for former Breitbart News reporter Michelle Fields, who started a firestorm of controversy after the explosive allegations. The arrest is in relation to the March 8 incident where 41-year-old Lewandowski was accused of forcefully grabbing Fields as she approached Trump after a conference.

Ever since, there’s been a fierce debate over what happened, and it even led to a meltdown at Breitbart, with Fields and editor-at-large Ben Shapiro both resigning. After their resignations, several other reporters from the website also stepped down.

Lewandowski turned himself in to Jupiter Police this morning, according to a report. The same report also states that new surveillance video offered police enough evidence to charge Lewandowski with the offense, which shouldn’t result in any jail time.

According to the New York Daily News, Trump’s campaign released the following statement:

“Mr. Lewandowski is absolutely innocent of this charge,” a campaign statement said.

“He will enter a plea of not guilty and looks forward to his day in court. He is completely confident that he will be exonerated.”

Messages left for Lewandowski, Trump and his campaign weren’t immediately returned.

I don’t know about you, but this seems like it’s politically motivated, especially considering the strong anti-Trump stance from Fields and Shapiro, who have worked closely together for some time. Even the attest video doesn’t show an assault, but rather a crowded room in which Lewandowski was trying to look out for the safety of the man whose life is threatened more than anybody else’s in the country, hence why he has 24-hour Secret Service protection.

As Trump’s campaign statement said, he’s more than likely going to be cleared of any wrongdoing, or at least he better be. I mean, what do people expect? Things get tense in crowded areas and people react, and that looks like what happened above.
