BREAKING NEWS Out Of California… This Is MASSIVE

ADELANTO, CALIFORNIA — California authorities have made a major bust after investigators found an illegal THC extraction lab at the location Thursday morning.

Wait-I thought pot was legal in California? WTF?

What happened is that authorities were alerted by an anonymous source that the 50,000 square building was being used as a  methamphetamine lab, so San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department narcotics investigators served a search warrant at Lifestyle Delivery Systems Inc.

There was no methamphetamine.

But what the police found was a cannabis lab.

That is legal.

From Daily Press:

“Large amounts of propane, ethanol and butane were found at the location,” officials stated. “Large amounts of finished concentrated cannabis was also located and seized from the business.”

Lifestyle Delivery Systems, located at 9501 Commerce Way, is still under construction in preparation for commercial marijuana cultivation and manufacturing. No arrests have been made, but officials stated criminal charges are still pending.

“Commercial marijuana businesses cannot operate volatile extraction labs in California until such time the Bureau of Cannabis Control (BCC) finalizes regulations and issues licenses,” officials said.

The BCC has not issued licenses or approved applications for manufacturing to date, officials stated.

Lifestyle Delivery Systems only in late October celebrated the launch of its mass production of CannaStrips, a medicine taken sublingually that dissolves in a patient’s mouth.

The endeavor was a joint partnership between the company and CSPA Group after nearly three years of work.

Brad Eckenweiler, the CEO of Lifestyle Deliver System, and Jerry Davis, president of CSPA Group, did not return messages seeking comment Thursday.

Davis is an influential member of the Adelanto Growers Association, which has sponsored several community-oriented events since its inception. In a signal of the close connection between the organization and the city, the AGA logo adorns Adelanto’s welcome sign on Highway 395.

A HazMat team was requested to respond to the location just before 11 a.m. Thursday, according to San Bernardino County Fire Department spokesman Eric Sherwin.

Adelanto Code Enforcement also responded and found “numerous code violations” for building safety and construction, along with operations inconsistent with city ordinances.

“We don’t make it a matter of practice to comment on any criminal investigation going on in the city,” Adelanto spokesman Michael Stevens said. “We’re aware there was a raid that took place.”

But Stevens said the city was unaware it was planned or of any details, adding that the served search warrant “was not a city-initiated or involved operation.”

The incident drew to the scene Mayor Rich Kerr, who briefly spoke with law enforcement, as well as Adelanto economic development consultant Jessie Flores and two commercial marijuana businessmen who sought insight into the matter.

The investigation continues, and no suspects have been identified as of Thursday. The investigation is expected to be forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office for review and filing of criminal charges for manufacturing a controlled substance, officials said.
