Schumer is an old senile Commie who should be in a nursing home but he’s not.

No, Schumer is instead going full steam ahead on the Communist agenda of destroying America as we know it.

He has no meaningful agenda and has served solely as an obstructionist to anything and everything that is good for Americans.

His latest proves that point.

On Saturday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) stated that Democrats must tackle issues like “improving our democracy. Making D.C. a state, automatic voter registration,” and vowed Democrats will get “big, bold change” “no matter what.” He also commented on the possibility of abolishing the filibuster by stating, “failure is not an option. We must create change.”

Schumer said, “Well, Rev., we have one goal: big, bold change in America. We would like the Republicans to join us in some of those things at least, and maybe they will. But we are going to get that change no matter what. We cannot — there is such a demand, three huge issues we have to do: climate, huge issue facing the country, racial and economic inequality, which has gotten worse, not better, which demands change and justice in a big, bold way, and improving our democracy. Making D.C. a state, automatic voter registration, getting rid of Citizens United, all the things embodied in H.R. 1, which the House passed and McConnell would block up, but we’re going to fight to pass it in the Senate. That’s why we’ve made it S 1. So, climate, racial inequality, economic inequality, and democracy, improving our democracy, letting people vote much more easily, dealing with D.C. and Puerto Rican statehood, dealing with bad money that flows in. The John Lewis Act, undoing the horrible decisions the court made, which defanged the Voting Rights Act, and that’s why Republicans have gotten away with taking people’s right away to vote for the last four years.”

2021 has already seen an enormous amount of executive orders and baffling policies from the Biden and Harris administration.  With the promise of massive and bold changes coming to America, that in itself should make the hair raise on the back of your neck.

There is a epic push to make D.C. a state and that would be an extremely dangerous move, which who knows, maybe that’s part of the democrats agenda.

Well, America’s Founding Fathers decided, when they wrote the Constitution, that it was imperative that the center of government was not in a state. In America’s early post-Revolution days, it would see several different temporary centers of government, all of them northern cities like Philadelphia and New York. While drafting the Constitution in 1787, the Founding Fathers decided that the new nation should have a permanent capital. But they were reluctant to give that much power to one single state.

So they wrote in Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution that “[The Congress shall have Power] To exercise exclusive Legislation…over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may…become the Seat of the Government of the United States.” The article also stated that this 100-mile district would come from land ceded by the states so that the new seat of government would be independent of any state.

But the location caused more tension between the founders—specifically, northerner Alexander Hamilton and southerner Thomas Jefferson. Hamilton thought having a northern capital would help the north settle outstanding Revolutionary War debts. Jefferson was wary about bankers and economic masterminds—who lived mostly in northern states—having too much control. So, to compromise, George Washington himself chose a location bordering the Potomac River. The northern Maryland and the southern Virginia would be the two states to cede land for this new capital, which was founded in 1790. So, in short, statehood for D.C. would directly contradict the Constitution.

Each state has it’s own state constitution which forces the federal government to need a states Governor to deploy federal soldiers in said state as well protects the citizens state rights .  So now imagine if D.C. is a state, yea, it could literally become a a fenced off militarized zone.  Oh wait, the Capitol already is and has the armed National Guard protecting it.

Now let’s look at the next big issue they discussed, mail-in-voting with automatic voter-registration.  Well that certainly cannot be manipulated or become a controversy now could it!
