Cop Works Sanders Rally and Trump Rally On Same Day, But He Never Expected THIS …

A Police officer in West Virginia pulled double duty working at a Sanders rally and then working a Trump rally. His name is Jeremy Yost and he posted the experience on his Facebook page which has garnered almost 15,000 shares since he posted it on May 5. We anticipate that number to go much higher.

Mr. Yost writes:

Today I worked the Bernie Sanders rally, while I do not support or agree with him it was pretty cool to work a Presidential candidate but that isn’t the real story…. After the Sanders rally I left straight from there to the Trump rally.

While standing there waiting for the rally to start and hear Mr. Trump speak an older Veteran stopped next to me and put his hand on my back and said “I just want to thank you for your service and everything you do.” This had me shocked because of who the older gentleman was, Hershel “Woody” Williams. The man who received the Medal of Honor was thanking me for my service?

I turned to Mr. Williams and shook his hand and thanked him for his comment but I stated to him that it should be me thanking him for his service! That comment coming from a guy like Mr. Williams definitely made my evening.

Then I was in the hallway when Mr. Trump arrived and snapped a quick picture. Right after that I got a quick thumbs up from him and he then stopped and acknowledged all law enforcement in the hallway and thanked us for being there.

It was a very nice change after Sanders bashing Law Enforcement just hours prior in front of cameras.

For the record there were no cameras around Mr. Trump and he could have walked right past us without acknowledging is standing there but did. It’s time we bring respect back to America!

How great is it that we have 2 heroes thanking each other for their service? And how great is it that Donald Trump is so respectful of our law enforcement officers and our Military?

After almost 8 years of Obama slamming our heroes this is so refreshing to see.

We want to thank Officer Yost for his service and ask the Lord to watch over him and keep him safe.

God Bless.
