Robert De Niro BEGS U.N. To Help Hurricane-Ravaged Island, What He REALLY Wanted Is SHAMEFUL

Hollywood limousine liberal Robert De Niro went to the U.N. this week to give the perception he’s some sort of humanitarian, but the actual reason he went there is beyond shameful.

Hurricane Irma crashed through the Caribbean Islands with deadly force, leaving the island of Barbuda in ruins, so De Niro went to the U.N. to ask for relief fund to be sent to help the suffering people there. On the outside, it appears as if he actually cares about the welfare of those who had their entire lives destroyed, but just like with every other moonbat leftist, there appears to have been an ulterior motive.

During the meeting, De Niro told the U.N. that Barbuda is an “unspoiled beauty, a paradise found” but added, “we have a humanitarian crisis, an entire island destroyed,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

“We must act together to help the most vulnerable. The recovery process will be a long, hard road. … Working together with all of you, Barbuda can rise to be stronger and be more resilient,” De Niro stated.

But while De Niro likely hoped that the public would view his efforts as part of his humanitarian activism, the truth is much, much darker. Soon after the two-time Oscar winner made his appearance, the public found out the startling reality behind De Niro’s visit.

From BizPac Review:

As it turns out, Barbuda is home to the future Paradise Found Nobu resort. The owner of the luxurious multi-million dollar getaway? Robert De Niro.

De Niro and his business partner James Packer bought the property in 2016. It was formerly the K Club, an exclusive destination frequented by Princess Diana of Wales. The K Club shut down in 2004. The new, updated resort is still under construction, although it isn’t clear how much it was affected by the hurricane.

As it turns out, the people of Barbuda don’t even want him there. When he first purchased the luxury resort, the people opposed him at every turn, since at the time, the land in Barbuda was supposed to belong to its people, by law.

However, De Niro and his partners went in and strong-armed the government to get them to change their ways for his benefit. As a result, he was able to purchase the property and now faces massive losses as the island lays devastated from the storms.

So to save his failing business investment, De Niro is begging the U.N. to flood Barbuda with relief cash so they can rebuild faster.

Apparently De Niro’s altruism ends as soon as his own money becomes involved, just like every other limousine liberal out there.
