JUST IN: Democrats PANIC After DAMNING Letter From MLK’s Wife On Illegal Aliens Surfaces

The Democrats have been using a letter written by Coretta Scott King to smear the character of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, but there’s another, much more important letter she wrote that not a single one of them will even mention.

The second letter is from King and eight CEOs of leading African-American organizations at the time, and it states their strong opposition to the left’s immigration policies. Back in 1991, King urged Sen. Orrin Hatch not to repeal sanctions on companies that employed illegal immigrants because of the “devastating impact” it would have on low-skilled workers, especially those in minority communities.

King and her group were concerned that Hatch’s proposal to get rid of the sanctions would cause another problem for minorities – the discrimination against them in favor of the cheaper illegal immigrant labor.

We are concerned, Senator Hatch, that your proposed remedy … will cause another problem — the revival of the pre-1986 discrimination against black and brown U.S. and documented workers, in favor of cheap labor — the undocumented workers,” they wrote. “This would undoubtedly exacerbate an already severe economic crisis in communities where there are large numbers of new immigrants.”

“America does not have a labor shortage,” they argued. “With roughly 7 million people unemployed, and double that number seeking work, the removal of employer sanctions threatens to add additional U.S. workers to the rolls of the unemployed.”

The group also argued that making it easier for illegals to get jobs would “add to competition for scarce jobs and drive down wages,” as well as “add to our social problems and place an unfair burden on the poor in the cities in which most new immigrants cluster.”

The argument against leftist immigration policies from King and her group sounds very similar to those made by Sessions, who holds hawkish views on the issue. That’s why the Democrats haven’t even acknowledged this letter exists, despite the fact they’ve used a different letter from the same woman in an attempt to derail his confirmation as attorney general.

Fortunately, their efforts failed and on Wednesday night he was confirmed for his position.
