JUST IN: Democrats Take SICK Action After Trump Fires Obama’s Attorney General- Check This Out

Senate Democrats have reached all new lows today.  They are now refusing to attend a committee vote on two of President Trump’s cabinet nominees. Democrats on the Senate Finance Committee boycotted votes to advance Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.), Trump’s pick to head the Department of Health and Human Services, and Steven Munchin, his selection to head the Treasury Department.

This, of course, causes delay.  It’s much like children on the playground.  The Democrats are picking up their toys and going home.

The protest stems from their outrage at the dismissal of acting Attorney General, Sally Yates.  Yates directed the Department of Justice to refuse to enforce President Trump’s 90-day immigration hiatus for 7 countries in the Middle East.  Where was their outrage just a few weeks ago when Obama banned Cuban refugees from entering the country or in 2011 when he banned refugees from Iraq for 6 months?  Where was this outrage when Obama’s drone program dropped more than 26,000 bombs on this region in 2016 alone?

The selective outrage is insane. You either oppose it all – or you don’t. Otherwise, you look like an ignorant fool that allows the media to direct your outrage rather than someone that actually reads and thinks.

Republicans are expressing their outrage and disgust over the childish antics. Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) states, “I can’t understand why senators, who know we’re going to have these two people go through, can’t support the committee. I’m very disappointed in this kind of crap. Some of this is because they just don’t like the president.”

Hatch states that he is going to attempt to conduct the vote later today. This is simply another delay in a long list of many that the Democrats have caused with regard to these 2 nominations. Democrats are claiming Price’s financial investments post a conflict of interest and Mnuchin’s time as the head of OneWest Bank and whether the bank treated homeowners facing foreclosure fairly.

Four Democrats sitting on the Senate’s Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee (HELP) also asked for a delay on Tuesday’s committee vote in a letter sent to Hatch yesterday with claims of  “serious concerns” about “outstanding and significant questions about qualifications and ethical conduct.”
The letter was signed by Sens. Patty Murray (Wash.), Al Franken (Minn.), Tammy Baldwin (Wis.) and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.).
It’s rather interesting that serious concerns with regard to ethical conduct is now all of sudden an issue for these individuals – Al Franken and Elizabeth Warren in particular when they both have had HIGHLY publicized ethical issues of their own.

God Bless.
