The Emmys are all the talk of the day after they became the most politicized awards show ever, but at least one celebrity in attendance wasn’t on board with the vile, anti-Trump hatred on display.

From the moment the event started, host Stephen Colbert ripped into the President, calling him a “traitor” and accusing him of treasonous activities, but things didn’t end there. As celebrity after celebrity took to the stage, they all joined in on insulting Trump, and therefore the tens of millions of people who voted for him, showing just how out of touch they are with regular Americans.

However, there was at least one part of the night that someone appeared to be respectful of our President, and it didn’t come from any of the left-wing lunatics who’ve been crying over the election for seven months. Instead, it came from Hollywood icon and a woman of pure class, Dolly Parton.

Parton joined former co-stars “Hanoi” Jane Fonda, who was actually a traitor to our country, and Lily Tomlin, both of whom starred with Parton in the 80’s hit “9 to 5.” Parton, surrounded by batshit crazy leftists, took the high road as her fellow actresses took to berating President Trump.

The veiled references got a lot of applause from the audience at the Emmys from the stars of “9 to 5,” a popular movie released in 1980.

“Personally, I have been waiting for a ‘9 to 5’ reunion ever since we did the first one,” Parton said.

“Well, back in 1980,” Jane Fonda added, “in that movie, we refused to be controlled by a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot.”

“And in 2017, we still refuse to be controlled by a sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot!” Lily Tomlin responded to great applause.

“So that being said, tonight we’re here to recognize some men who conduct themselves with the utmost integrity,” Fonda continued.

Reactions were mixed, by many sided with Parton in her display of respect for President Trump.

Indeed, which is far more than can be said for any of the other moonbats there.

As we previously reported, the politicization of the awards show has led to a ratings nightmare for the once-popular program. Last year, the Emmys saw a record low viewership of just 11.3 million people, and this year it was even worse.

The Emmys are becoming a tougher sell for viewers. For another year, initial ratings for the TV awards are down — this time slipping to an all-time low.

Adjustments could put the total audience ahead of the previous year’s low, but the 8.2 overnight rating among metered market households is down another 2 percent from the previous year. That means that the final tally for the 2017 Emmys, hosted by Stephen Colbert on CBS, is on track to slip below the 11.3 million viewers (and a mere 2.8 rating among adults 18-49) that tuned in during 2016.

Overnight ratings are naturally below those of NBC’s Sunday Night Football, which took a 12.6 overnight rating.

Ouch.

If that’s not sending a message to these snowflakes, nothing will.
