BREAKING: Dozens DEAD Including Kids In HORRIFIC Bus Crash

EAST AFRICA- At least 35 people were killed after a bus carrying students lost control and crashed in Dodoma in northern Tanzania, police said Saturday. Most of the deceased are young children.

The bus, which was loaded with students on their way to take final exams reportedly skidded out of control and plunged into a steep ravine.

Arusha Region Police Commander Charles Mkumbo said the dead included 32 young students, two teachers and a bus driver. They said all of those bodies have been recovered.

Innocent Mushi, director of the Lucky Vincent Primary School, said the dead included 15 boys and 17 girls.

The children are believed to be aged between 12 and 14 years old.

Several children were injured in the crash and some were left with terrible injuries.

Photos posted on local media showed one end of the bus crushed.

“The accident happened when the bus was descending on a steep hill in rainy conditions,” Arusha regional police commander Charles Mkumbo said.

President John Magufuli sent a message with his condolences to families of the victims “at this time of tragedy and grief.”

“This accident extinguishes the dreams of these children who were preparing to serve the nation, it is an immense pain for the families involved and for the whole nation,” he said.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
