After spending years building my pages (IMPEACH NANCY PELOSI has 591K) Facebook is only allowing me to communicate with 1% of people who “opted in” (Liked the page) to see our posts.

This effects everyone from the missed traffic my blogs experience to the loss in revenue that both Google and other ad networks experience, due to low traffic, to advertisers who wish to do business and reach the high value members in our network!

Facebook wants us to pay to “boost” our posts ($300 min. to reach 50K) but we post 15 to 20 items per day. So they want us to pay $4,500.00 per day but can’t guarantee that $4,500.00 will go to people who will engage (“like”, “Share”, or “Comment”) even if we could afford that, it wouldn’t make good business sense to do so.

We’re willing to pay a monthly tiered subscription based fee (like email marketing firms charge i.e.: (Mail Chimp or Constant Contact) create a system that’s fair and we’ll pay it, but choking off our ability to communicate with our entire list and killing our ability to drive traffic to our websites is not the way to go, nor is it healthy for the long term viability of Facebook itself.

Page owners should ban together to affect change – all page owners and their supporters should boycott Facebook for 48hrs in protest of this policy!
