YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE – THE GOOD NEWS

Facebook may control their platform, the sale of your data and whether they allow you the privilege to pay them to connect to your customers. But you have the ability to download a copy of your page data. You just need to know where to find it and how to get access to it. We will show you how in a few simple steps.

STEP 1

Open Facebook on a computer or laptop and navigate to the settings page.

STEP 2

Select the GENERAL TAB and select DOWNLOAD PAGE

STEP 3

Click the Download Facebook Page link

STEP 4

Select “All of my data” in the Time Range, Select “JSON” for File Format, Select “High Quality” for Media Quality,  Make sure all the boxes are checked,

Then click the Blue Create File Button.

STEP 5

You now have to wait while Facebook creates a .zip file with all of your Facebook Page data.

STEP 6

When you have received the notification from Facebook that your file is ready, download it someplace safe with ample storage space.

CONGRATULATIONS – YOU NOW HAVE A LOCAL COPY OF YOUR FACEBOOK DATA
