Houston Texan’s most famous defensive lineman J.J. Watt, is doing something amazing for Hurricane Harvey victims. He announced on his Twitter on Saturday that he wanted to start a fundraiser that will go directly to the people. Within 24 hours, his Houston Flood Relief Fund raised over $500,000 and kept going. On Tuesday, his efforts and fundraiser have raised over $2 million and the donations keep pouring in.

In addition to his efforts, J.J. Watt donated $100,000 of his own money along with Chris Paul, point guard for the Houston Rockets who also donated $50,000 to this great cause.

J.J. Watt said this…“I think that it’s been an unbelievable display of what can happen when people come together, Just to see how many people are sharing it, to see how many people are donating. Whether it’s $5, whether it’s $500, whatever it may be, to see so many people’s support, to see so many people send the message, spread the message, it’s incredible.” Watt then continued, while praising the city-wide efforts… “And I think that’s what Houston’s all about. It’s a very diverse city. It’s a very resilient city. It’s been through things like this before—maybe not of this magnitude, but it’s been through these types of situations.”

Hell Ya, this Patriot is amazing! I’m wondering where Colin Kaepernick, Michael Bennett and all the other idiots donations are? Since they’re “so oppressed”. What about BLM and Antifa, where are their donations and contributions? That’s exactly right, NONE of these people or groups are going to help anyone out and it’s NOT surprising!

Scott Polacek @ Bleacher Report reports – Watt and Paul aren’t the only athletes to help with the hurricane relief. St. Louis Cardinals star Matt Carpenter said he will donate $10,000 for every home run he hits for the rest of the season and noted his teammate Adam Wainwright would match the donation for each long ball.

What’s more, the New England Patriots announced owner Robert Kraft and the team would match as much as $1 million in Red Cross donations.

A number of other athletes and coaches have also taken to Twitter to offer their support for the relief efforts.

On Tuesday morning while on Good Morning America, J.J. Watt came up with a fantastic idea. He would like the NFL to make this Thursday’s football game between the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys, a “massive multi-million dollar fundraiser” to help as many people as possible.

J.J. Watt is the perfect example of a True American. He is a blessing for the people of Texas and a great role model for the rest of America. It’s great when professional athletes use their fame to help people in need. Let’s help him keep this fundraiser going and Make Houston Great Again. Once again, you can donate @ the Houston Flood Relieve Fund and he pledges the money will go directly to the people in need!

God Bless.
