In 2015 Freddie Gray, a black man died while in police custody in Baltimore. All hell broke loose and State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby immediately played the race card and anti cop card, jumping to conclusions which lead to the prosecution of 6 police officers. Their lives have been destroyed and they are demanding JUSTICE.

U.S. District Judge Marvin J. Garbis is allowing key parts of a lawsuit against Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby, brought by five of the six police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray, to move forward, according to The Baltimore Sun.

The federal judge ruled that claims including malicious prosecution, defamation, and invasion of privacy can move forward against Mosby and Assistant Sheriff Samuel Cogen, who wrote the statement of probable cause.

Mosby’s attorneys had said she has absolute prosecutorial immunity from actions taken as a state’s attorney. But Garbis noted that her office has said it conducted an independent investigation.

“Plaintiffs’ malicious prosecution claims relate to her actions when functioning as an investigator and not as a prosecutor,” Garbis wrote.

Claims that included malicious prosecution, defamation and invasion of privacy are being allowed to move forward but other counts such as false arrest, false imprisonment and abuse of process, were dismissed, as Garbis had signaled he would do at an October hearing. All claims against the state were also dismissed.

Three of the officers charged in the April 2015 arrest and death of Gray were found not guilty of all charges by a judge, and prosecutors dropped charges against the remaining three officers last July.

Officers Garrett Miller, Edward Nero and William Porter, and Sgt. Alicia White and Lt. Brian Rice were the officers behind the lawsuit, Conservative Tribune reports. Officer Caesar Goodson was the only officer involved in the Gray death who was not a plaintiff.

Courthouse News noted that all six officers were either acquitted, had their cases end in a mistrial or had the charges against them dropped.

The charges of defamation and invasion of privacy were a result of the infamous news conference Mosby held in which she made a grand spectacle of announcing the charges against the officers, WBFF reported.

By allowing this lawsuit to carry on, Garbis has sent a warning to all prosecutors that they can be held accountable for their actions if they stray outside their job description.

Mosby is now one step closer to paying for her despicable actions against those six officers.

This lady has played a huge part in Obama’s war on cops which has resulted in our courageous men and women in BLUE to lose their lives at the hands of feral thugs.

She should be locked in a cage.

Let us know what you think.

God Bless.
