BREAKING NEWS About The Fired ANTI-TRUMP FBI AGENT… It’s Really, REALLY BAD

Sean Brown AMERICA’S FREEDOM FIGHTERS –

On Saturday, we learned that an FBI agent who was fired from Robert Mueller’s special counsel held extreme anti-Trump and pro-Hillary views, and this morning the story became even worse as more information about the agent’s past has come to light.

We reported yesterday that Peter Strzok was let go from Mueller’s team in August, after text messages were uncovered between him and his Trump-hating mistress, attorney Lisa Page, showing his blind hatred of the President. Strzok was one of over a dozen members of Mueller’s team with Democrat leanings, making his firing suspicious given Mueller’s mandate.

We’re now learning that Strzok headed up the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server, and his conduct is under review by the Justice Department after he concluded that Hillary was “careless” in her mishandling of classified information yet exonerated her because there was “no proof of intent” – the same language used by then-FBI Director James Comey.

Fox News reported:

“While Strzok’s removal from the Mueller team had been publicly reported in August, the Justice Department never disclosed the anti-Trump texts to the House investigators.”

“Responding to the revelations about Strzok’s texts on Saturday, Nunes said he has now directed his staff to draft contempt-of-Congress citations against Rosenstein and the new FBI director, Christopher Wray.”

But while Strzok’s conduct during the investigation into Hillary Clinton is questionable, at best, we’re also learning that Strzok was hand-picked by the FBI to lead the probe into allegations of Trump-Russia collusion. Worse yet, he also relied heavily on the so-called “Dirty dossier” – a seedy dossier of mostly unproven allegations that started out as opposition research bought and paid for by Hillary and the DNC.

Again from Fox News [emphasis added]:

House investigators told Fox News they have long regarded Strzok as a key figure in the chain of events when the bureau, in 2016, received the infamous anti-Trump “dossier” and launched a counterintelligence investigation into Russian meddling in the election that ultimately came to encompass FISA surveillance of a Trump campaign associate.

The “dossier” was a compendium of salacious and largely unverified allegations about then-candidate Trump and others around him that was compiled by the opposition research firm Fusion GPS. The firm’s bank records, obtained by House investigators, revealed that the project was funded by the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee. -Fox News

This guy has some serious ‘splainin to do, especially since that dossier was used to obtain FISA warrants on at least one member of the Trump campaign, Carter Page, and likely led to the FISA warrant that ensnared former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

It’s also worth noting that in light of recent information, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes is preparing to take against the Justice Department and FBI for withholding important information from the investigations his committee is conducting.

“I have instructed House Intelligence Committee staff to begin drawing up a contempt of Congress resolution for DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray,” California Rep. Devin Nunes, the Republican chair of the committee, said in a statement on Saturday night.

“In light of today’s press reports, we now know why Strzok was dismissed, why the FBI and DOJ refused to provide us this explanation, and at least one reason why they previously refused to make Deputy [FBI] Director [Andrew] McCabe available to the Committee for an interview,” said Nunes.

As Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge pointed out:

We now know that the original, pre-Mueller FBI investigation into Trump-Russia collusion was spearheaded by Peter Strzok – an anti-Trump senior FBI agent who was fired for sending anti-Trump / pro-Clinton text messages to his mistress during their investigation into Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information.

We also know that the FBI probe led by Strzok relied on the salacious 34-page Steele dossier, paid for in part by Hillary Clinton and the DNCto launch their Trump-Russia investigation and obtain a FISA warrant on Carter Page.

This raises a multitude of questions about Strzok, the Clinton email investigation, and any other politically charged cases he’s worked on – which are now under review by the DOJ’s Office of Personnel Management.

The swamp is definitely in need of some serious draining.
