President Trump ripped into the players disrespecting out flag and National Anthem, calling them “son of a bitches” and encouraging team owners to fire anyone who takes a knee during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner.

Personally I agree- stand and honor our military and our country or get the hell off the field and get the hell out of our country.

But the liberals argue that they have the right to take a knee because it’s free speech. No, you are being paid to do your freaking job- protest on your own time.

While there’s millions of fans who feel exactly the way President Trump does about the NFL allowing its millionaire players to feign oppression on the field as they chase a ball for ungodly amounts of money, Commissioner Goodell doesn’t seem to share the sentiment. In fact, in a Saturday morning statement, Goodell decided to attack President Trump about his “lack of respect” because it violated the “constitutional rights of our players,” referring to the First Amendment.

Here’s what he said, via The Hill:

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell fired back at President Trump on Saturday for encouraging league owners to remove players who take a knee during the national anthem, saying Trump’s “divisive comments” show “an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL.”

“The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture,” Goodell said in a statement. “There is no better example than the amazing response from our clubs and players to the terrible natural disasters we’ve experienced over the last month.”

“Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.”

Hold on right there. Goodell threatened NFL players who wanted to honor both 9/11 victims and five police officers who were murdered in Dallas!

The Dallas Cowboys wanted to pay tribute to the five Dallas officers who were murdered at a Black Lives Matter protest on July 7, 2016. The Cowboys had been wearing a special decal on their helmets that said “Arm in Arm” that specifically honored the police officers — that is, until the NFL stepped in and stopped it.

“The NFL had an opportunity to be leaders and advocates for change in law enforcement,” Sgt. Demetrick Pennie, president of The Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation, told TMZ at the time. “These are our friends and our loved ones … it hurts to not have the NFL fully support us.”

That was disgusting. Double standard? Goodell is a filthy pile of sh*t.

Then Goodell forbid players to honor the thousands of Americans who were murdered by Islamic terrorists on 9/11.

“Avery Williamson, a starting linebacker for the Tennessee team, hoped to wear a pair of specially-designed cleats at his team’s home opener Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings on the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, but he backed off when a league rep vowed to fine him for violating the league’s uniform code,” the New York Post reported.

Nationally syndicated conservative talk-radio host, Mark Levin, fumed over the decision by the NFL, calling it “embarrassing” and “disgraceful”:

Let me tell you why the NFL won’t do this. Anyone have a guess? I have a big guess: Because they don’t want any trouble from the leftists, from the Black Lives Matter crowd. I know exactly what’s going on here. Like Hillary Clinton doesn’t seek the endorsement from the cops union. Of course not. The Democrat Party’s gone. And the NFL top brass, like the NBA top brass, like baseball top brass, all liberal Democrats. [Every] damn one of them, pretty much.

Earlier we reported that Conservative talks how host Rush Limbaugh, who’s been a fan of the National Football League for over 40 years, announced to his loyal fan base that Sunday’s antics sent him over the edge, and he’s finally had enough.

The game has been “politicized and corrupted,” he explained. “The people who have politicized it are on the left.”

“When that happens,” he said, “things change. It’s over.”

Rush is right. It’s over. Screw these scumbags.

Let’s not forget that when Tim Tebow would score a touchdown and would kneel and say a prayer, or point up to God he got punished by the NFL.

If Goodell and the NFL want to allow this bullshit that’s up to them. However, they shouldn’t act surprised when the people who make up the majority of their viewership – middle class Americans struggling to make ends-meet – decide to tune out because they’re not interested in listening to millionaires complaining about how hard life is.
