As America’s Freedom Fighters has been reporting, Republican nominee Donald Trump today landed in Louisiana to witness first-hand the devastation wrought by flooding not seen there since Hurricane Katrina pummeled the Gulf Coast back in 2005.

Trump met privately with local families in the Baton Rouge area who had been impacted by the devastating flood waters. Trump and Pence handed out supplies to the victims and gave the reassurance that they will be taken care of, especially under a Trump presidency.

Residents welcomed Trump with enthusiasm and one flood survivor, Jeff Nolan started tearing up while explaining what Trump’s visit to Louisiana means to him.

Jeff Nolan feels like he didn’t lose much in the floods ravaging Louisiana–at least, compared to a lot of people.

But when Nolan was interviewed by ABC News, his emotions about the visit of Donald Trump to his home state in the midst of so much loss came pouring out.

As he wiped away the tears from his eyes, the man explained in a short space how hard it is for so many people there.

“Let’s see,” he said, as he began choking up. “I didn’t lose anything compared to what a lot of people lost. I’m okay. It’s materialistic things. They can be replaced.”

The floods have torn through the state of Louisiana, leading to the evacuation of over 40,000 homes.

While Trump visited the state personally to hand out emergency supplies, President Obama was busy golfing and Hillary Clinton made a uselessphone call to the Louisiana Governor and sent out a lame Tweet.

“And having Trump here, that meant a lot to you?” ABC reporter Tom Llamas asked.

“Oh yes, yes,” he responded. “Because, hell, America’s gotta wake up! Donald Trump’s the way to wake us up. He’s waking America up, he’s gotta get busy. America’s got to get behind him.”

“Without America getting behind Donald Trump, we’re going to lose and lose bigger than this flood,” Nolan added. “So, America’s gotta wake up.”

Obama has opted not to disrupt his Martha’s Vineyard golfing vacation, while Clinton has been campaigning and preparing for two fundraisers scheduled to take place over the weekend.

In fact, both Clinton and Obama have said little about the catastrophe and have reportedly been receiving updates about the situation from their aides.

Meanwhile, Trump is in the trenches, meeting with victims, helping volunteers and lending a caring ear to their problems.

Because that’s what a real leader does.

Trump is a leader my friends.
