This is a sickening story out of Florida involving a woman who was murdered and then dumped in a freaking cesspool in her backyard. 

The remains of a Florida woman, who disappeared more than a week ago, has been found inside her septic tank – and her handyman has been arrested for murder.

Martin County Sheriff’s Office reports that late Friday evening and into Saturday morning, Martin County Sheriff’s Detectives located a body believed to be that of 57-year old Cynthia Cole inside the septic tank of her Jensen Beach home.

I’m sorry but that is sick as hell.

Detectives spent hours excavating Cole’s back yard, and located the body submerged in the contents of the tank about four feet underground. Shortly afterwards, detectives located and arrested 34-year old Keoki Hilo Demich and charged him with second degree murder. Keoki performed handyman duties for Ms. Cole.

There are elements to this case still being investigated. Positive identification of the body by the medical examiner’s office is expected shortly, however, detectives have every reason to believe it is that of Ms. Cole. We will update the community with additional information as it becomes available.

Demich had been hired by Cole to be her handyman for the last few years, Daily Mail reports.

He was the only person investigators were suspicious of after she was reported missing.

‘He made several statements that we know are false so he was charged with second-degree murder,’ said Martin County Sheriff William Snyder.

Snyder added that Ring cameras and security footage near Cole’s home show Demich exiting Cole’s car near Demich’s home in Stuart on the same night when Cole was last seen.

There were several other instances of cameras catching Demich near Cole’s vehicle, according to Snyder.

‘I’ve been doing this 40 plus years. I’ve never seen anything like it,’ Snyder said.

Meanwhile, Snyder said detectives are still collecting evidence and added that Demich could face additional charges.

Evidence collected thus far suggests that Cole was likely murdered in her home before her body was placed in the septic tank.

“They have every reason to be shaken up,” the Martin County sheriff said during a press conference Monday about the neighbors of Coles. But he said they should find comfort in the fact that the monster is behind bars.

What in the hell is wrong with these people?

What kind of deranged lunatic would so such a sickening thing?
