A New Jersey town is dumping John F. Kennedy for Barack Obama. They’re changing the name of the city’s John F. Kennedy Center to the Barack Obama Center.

The suburb of Philadelphia – which is two-thirds black – believe all of Obama’s incredible accomplishments merit dumping Kennedy.

“I think that people have a sense of pride about him. . . . We had so many new people register to vote, people who had never voted before, people who were disenfranchised,” Depity Mayor Jacqueline Jennings said. “All of a sudden, we had maybe 8,000 people register to vote. We had lines . . . people wrapping around the buildings when the polls opened. It was a sense of history, everybody wanted to be a part of it.”

Anthony Robert Agee – “What’s the deal with the Willingboro council voting to rename Kennedy Center to the 0bama center? I live in MD and will never step foot in that place if that change is made.”

Jennifer Holmberg-bannon – “I think it’s disrespectful & disgraceful that there’s even a THOUGHT to change a buildings name to that pathetic excuse for a “president” he supports terrorists & even sets them free & you want to sensationalize his tyrannical ruling? No wonder other country’s think the US is a joke”

The name change will coincide with an upgrade, including converting the center’s cafeteria to a banquet hall and upgrading the lobby and entrance…
