From New York Post:

“I can’t believe this,” said neighbor Javier Yudelka, 43, adding that in the past she has seen the little boy run up and down the hall of the six-story building.

“[He] runs up and down the hall and I never see her saying ‘Be quiet’ or ‘Come back here’ or anything. He’s just allowed to run around and do what he wants,” Yudelka said.

Yudelka said she hadn’t seen the mother in the last two weeks, adding that the woman “is not very friendly, never says hello or ‘thank you.’”

Very strange indeed.
