The left really likes to smash on President Trump and his supporters by constantly making comments about the status of their mental health, which is just a really nice way of saying they call them crazy.

Say, aren’t liberals supposed to be compassionate folk? Yet here they are making fun of mental illness and equating those who suffer from various issues with the president and vice versa. Isn’t that some sort of shaming? They have shaming for everything these days, right?

However, when you take a look at the comments made by Sen. Dianne Feinstein about closing down Guantanmo Bay, perhaps she’s the one with questionable mental health.

Fox News has the details:

The California Democrat’s request coincided with a lawsuit filed by 11 Guantanamo prisoners, who want the Trump administration to release them.

Feinstein, who serves on the Senate’s Judiciary and Intelligence committees, has been fighting against the detention facility since its creation 16 years ago, under President George W. Bush, and has called on both the Bush and Obama administrations to relocate all the detainees and close the prison.

“This prison has cost taxpayers more than $5 billion, and the propaganda value for terrorists has been even greater,” Feinstein said in a statement on the 16th anniversary of the opening of the facility.

“It’s time to close this prison once and for all, so today I call on President Trump to restart the review process for those prisoners who haven’t been cleared for transfer or charged with a crime,” she added, noting that the prison “has been a stain on our national conscience.”

Trump has refrained from releasing or transferring anyone from the prison during his first year in office.

The lawyers for the prisoners filing the lawsuit have said that a refusal to release detainees is “perpetual detention,” which is forbidden by the U.S. Constitution and the acts of Congress that afforded the prisoners certain rights.

Well, now, isn’t that something? It seems that if these folks really don’t like being detained, perhaps they ought to have thought a little bit more carefully about the life choices that brought them into this mess to begin with. After all, they have no one to blame but themselves for getting involved with radicals and murdering innocent people.

Feinstein has no problem whatsoever with releasing dangerous criminals who are wholeheartedly invested in an ideology that desires to see the destruction of America back into their native environment where they are almost guaranteed to rejoin their former terror groups and once again plot against the United States?

This is seems like the height of stupidity, but then again, that’s just a typical day in the land of make believe where liberals tend to dwell.

These individuals, who sought to destroy innocent life and made themselves enemy combatants by their membership in radical Islamic terror groups, have forfeited any rights or protections they may have had, therefore, keep them locked up or give them a military trial and have them executed for their crimes.

Either way, they can’t hurt anyone.
