TERRIFYING! Hillary Just Announced She Will Be Running For…

Hillary Clinton did not rule out challenging current City Hall occupant Mayor de Blasio in a private conversation with a top Democrat.

Instead of breaking the glass ceiling as the first women president of the United States of America, Hillary Clinton is now being wooed by some Democratic donors to fill the role of Mayor of New York City.  A former city Democratic elected official who said Clinton is “talking about it.”  Sources told the Daily News that Hillary Clinton has “left open the possibility” of running for mayor of New York City.

Hillary is reportedly being courted by New York Democrats to dive back into politics and give current Mayor Bill de Blasio some competition in the mayoral race later this year. Hillary has apparently not ruled out running for what is often considered the second hardest job in American politics according to the details of a private conversation but she has not confirmed any details publicly.

New York Times columnist Frank Bruni imagines the problems that Mayor Hillary Clinton would have over President Trump when he and/or his family are ensconced in Trump Tower.

The potholes near his properties go unfilled. Those neighborhoods are the last to be plowed. There’s a problem with the flow of water to his Bronx golf course, whose greens are suddenly brown and the Russian Consulate keeps experiencing power failures.”

As the Times points out, it’s not exactly the glass ceiling that Hillary had hoped to break — but it is also true that New York City has never had a female mayor. Some are even speculation that Hillary is still upset over de Blasio’s initial refusal to endorse her presidential bid during the campaign and this may be a “revenge” campaign of sorts.

It seems Times columnist Bruni is basically suggesting a move that would put Hillary in a better position to wage a perpetual temper tantrum by having revenge with unfilled potholes? This whole thing sounds like waste of hard working tax payer money.

If Clinton does want to run, she will have to make up her mind soon: the Democratic primary is nine months away. And she and former president Bill Clinton will have to leave their Chappaqua home, or buy a new one: all mayoral candidates must live in the five boroughs by the time Election Day rolls around, according to state law.

Many believe that if Clinton did in fact run for mayoral office, her widespread general election support in New York City coupled with de Blasio’s low poll numbers would spell a win for her.  If Hillary did win, it would all but guarantee years of clashes between President-elect Trump and Hillary.
