Former First Lady, Secretary of State, and presumptive 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took to Twitter Sunday night to comment on the NFL’s Super Bowl championship game—except she felt more compelled to snark on the channel broadcasting the event than the game itself.
The 2014 Super Bowl was broadcast on the FOX television channel and produced by Fox Sports Networks. Fox Broadcasting Company and Fox News Channel are both owned by News Corporation.
Clinton appeared on Fox News in January 2013 before she left her position in the Obama Administration as Secretary of State. President Barack Obama granted an interview to Bill O’Reilly which aired on Fox News before the Super Bowl Sunday.
