Why are people not focusing on the real KILLER in the United States?  Because this does not fit their agendas and in blunt truth, this proves that simply making something illegal and banning it, DOES NOT WORK!

In the wake of the deadly mass shooting at a high school in Parkland last month, the Florida Senate passed a bill on Monday that would create new restrictions on gun sales, and also allow some teachers to carry guns into schools, FOX News reports.

In a very narrow margin, the Senate passed 20-18 in favor of arming teachers in Florida, after an intense 3 hour debate.

“Do I think this bill goes far enough? No! No, I don’tI cannot live with a choice to put party politics above an opportunity to get something done that inches us closer to the place I believe we should be as a state.  This is the first step in saying never again.”Democratic Sen. Lauren Book

Democrats didn’t like the idea of letting teachers carry guns, even if the bill was amended to water down that proposed program. And many pro-gun rights Republicans didn’t like the idea of raising the minimum age to buy rifles from 18 to 21 and to create a waiting period on sales of the weapons.

The Bill limits which teachers are allowed to carry a firearm during school hours, which prior to being allowed to, the teachers will volunteer to attend Law Enforcement Training classes.

Teachers who do nothing but work strictly in a classroom environment, are not eligible for the Law Enforcement Training program, however, teachers who perform other jobs within the school, such as serving as a coach, and other school employees, are allowed to volunteer for the program.

Further exceptions are for those teachers who are current or former law enforcement officers, members of the military or those who teach in a Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps program.

The Bill will also create new mental health programs for schools; improve communication between schools, law enforcement and state agencies; create a task force to look at mistakes made during mass shootings nationally and then make recommendations on how to continue to improve law; and establish an anonymous tip line where students and others can report threats to schools.

The bill now goes to the House, which has a similar bill still waiting for consideration by the full chamber. The annual 60-day session is scheduled to end Friday.

“This bill will make a difference now, we’ve gotten somewhere.  This bill will make a difference now.  When it becomes law, things will start changing.”Republican Sen. Bill Galvano

In Florida a 18, 19, or 20 year old can vote, join the armed services, but is not allowed to protect himself/herself or his/hers family until he or she is 21. Old enough to die old enough to buy.

Blunt Truth, Having adults in schools with firearms will have some effect but when people are “evil” and want to carry out evil deeds, there isn’t a law that can prevent them from performing evil acts.

The legislation is making this about firearms when it has nothing to do with firearms, this has everything to do with morality.

Now we are facing severe violations of peoples rights, who creates these “Mental Health Checks” and these “Mental Health Programs for Schools”?   Who gets decide if a person is deemed mentally unsafe?

When you give up a piece of your liberties and freedoms in the name of safety, you deserve neither.

I understand that we desire answers and solutions to these shootings but in the grand scheme of things, shootings are not what is attacking our children and killing them.

Narcotics are destroying communities, killing our youth daily and they are already illegal and yet, they are an epidemic in our nation.

The latest numbers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that 64,070 people died from drug overdoses in 2016. That’s a 21 percent increase over the year before. Approximately three-fourths of all drug overdose deaths are now caused by opioids — a class of drugs that includes prescription painkillers as well as heroin and potent synthetic versions like fentanyl.

The report also showed that the year’s 64,070 drug fatalities outnumbered:

  • The 35,092 motor vehicle deaths in 2015.
  • AIDS-related deaths in the worst year of the AIDS crisis, when 50,628 people died in 1995.
  • The peak year for homicides in the U.S., when 24,703 people were murdered in 1991.
  • Suicides, which have been rising in the U.S. for nearly 30 years and totaled 44,193 in 2015.

If people in government offices truly cared about our youth, they would be focusing on the real epidemic and finding solutions to fight overdoses and allowing these deadly narcotics and synthetics in our schools!

Did you know that you can go to your local gas stations and purchase deadly synthetic narcotics?  They are deemed legal because they are labeled, “Not For Human Consumption”.

We need to stop the anti-gun agendas, stop the sheep from complete submission and allowing their masters to carry out there Marxism.

We must fight fire with fire and get the TRUTH out there, the real KILLER is already in our schools, opioids and narcotics.
