Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn has had a rough week, and it’s not getting any better.

We previously reported that the 33-year-old Olympian had some no so nice things to say about President Trump, and soon after things started going downhill (no pun intended). Vonn told CNN that while she’s going to be competing in the Olympic as an American, she’s not going to be representing our President, which essentially means she’s not going to be representing us Deplorables either, and people aren’t happy.

“Well, I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president,” Vonn told CNN.

The 33-year-old went even further by taking a not-so-veiled swipe at members of the Trump administration.

“I want to represent our country well,” Vonn explained. “I don’t think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that.”

Vonn was then asked if she’d visit the White House, should President Trump extend an invite after the Olympics, and she replied with a resounding “absolutely not.”

Shortly after her comments, the hashtag #BoyCottUnderArmour took off on social media, and shortly after that, she hurt herself during the World Cup competition on Saturday. Now, there’s even more bad news for the one-time Olympic Gold Medalist.

Fox News reports:

American skiing star Lindsey Vonn has withdrawn from her Sunday events at the World Cup in Switzerland after suffering a back injury during a super-G race on Saturday.

The injury occurred two days after she criticized President Donald Trump in an interview about the upcoming Winter Olympics in South Korea.

“I am extremely disappointed,” Vonn tweeted Sunday, “but my biggest goal this season is the Olympics and I need to take care of myself now so I can be ready for next week, and more importantly, for February.”

Ouch. The Trump curse is a very real thing.

For those wondering, Vonn suffered from an “acute facet” during her run on Saturday morning. Fox reported that she was initially treated on the course, then left for further evaluation from her trainers.

“Looks like i have an acute facet (spinal joint) dysfunction. I got compressed on the 6th gate and my back seized up. Rested and had a lot of therapy tonight. We will see how I feel tomorrow and then decide if I will race. Thanks for the support”

Karma sure is a fickle b—h, isn’t she?
