Huff Post Publishes Article Saying ALL Our Military Heroes Are RACIST… Let’s Show Them How We Feel About That

As mainstream media continues their onslaught of racial division in the United States, Huffington Post takes it to a new level of hate and lies.

“Becoming a racist: The unfortunate side effect of serving your country?”

The author, David Fagin, is a self-proclaimed writer, musician, Trump resistor and food snob, in his own words.

The article is nothing more than a hate piece, to attack and slander U.S. vets as well as POTUS Donald Trump.   Fagin’s agenda is clear that he has zero understanding of military brotherhood, PTSD and returning warfighters from overseas conflicts.

“But to learn that these brave men and women over there return with a new-found hatred for those different from them, especially after their mission is one of liberation from those who kill and persecute anyone of different faiths/beliefs, is quite disturbing to say the least.”

What a pathetic and weak attempt to attack the men and women that defend his rights and freedoms, that volunteered to be soldiers.  He clearly does not understand nor show any actual desire to understand military brotherhood.

The author makes it clear that he has a hatred towards military vets or maybe it is envy, maybe he lacks the spine and intestinal fortitude to volunteer for his nation, his flag and the civilians.  But most of all, he does not have compassion for his fellow man.  To put out an article full of assumptions, generalizations and slanderous lies, clearly shows which side of the fence he stands.

His view points are the same as Antifa members and the rest of the actual hate groups that desire a divided nation that uses racism to fuel their fires.

A friend of mine, April, is a huge advocate for Vets and she does more on a daily basis for us than most could ever realize.  Her response to the Huff Post and the pathetic article is time-on-target:

April Dykes Linder

 Dear HuffPost,

“My Friday morning began like any other – hot cup of coffee in one hand and scrolling news with the other. Scrolling past the BS that was obvious clickbait or just too dang serious or stupid for me to read without proper caffination. I checked on the latest Hurricane Harvey news, laughed at a few memes and then I stumbled upon a headline from last week, one of YOUR headlines, that not only grabbed my full attention but also had me whispering “oh hell no” as I opened it to read. ‘Becoming A Racist: The Unfortunate Side Effect Of Serving Your Country’??? This has to be a joke. I wanted it to be a joke, I NEEDED this to be a joke. I read it fully. I read it again. Nope, no joke. There in black letters glowing on my screen was quite possibly the dumbest and most infuriating article I have ever read on your site (and you’ve had several over the years).

The author, David Fagin should stick to what he knows best – music. In the most irresponsible and ridiculous ways he painted veterans who have served our country in Iraq & Afghanistan as racist, hate-filled and broken. In Mr Fagin’s weak attempt to vocalize his understanding of veterans who have served in the longest war in U.S. history he equates his personal knowledge of racism from service to his uncle who swore an oath in the NYPD. Ironically, he says his uncle was prejudiced against minorities but wasn’t racist but that wasn’t the kicker for me. Mr Fagin goes on to say “As to hear someone of such intelligence and valor, someone who I respected and cared for immensely, have such a distorted view, and to speak in generalizations about an entire race of people, was sad.” Now I’m no Rhodes Scholar but I’m pretty sure I know irony when I see it and this might just as well have been on a glowing neon sign. Mr Fagin’s entire article was a generalization about men and women who served in Iraq & Afghanistan. He assumes they come back broken and full of hate for anyone who isn’t white. Wrong Mr. Fagin, absolutely wrong! I will conceded that you and I agree on one thing – our government isn’t doing enough for service members in regards to post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, transition assistance back into civilian life among a host of other things but I absolutely disagree that we sent men and women off to war only for them to return as racist bigots. I also completely disagree that this problem as you see it falls to the feet of our current President. What Mr Fagin needs to understand is that our nations veterans aren’t angry about the color of someone’s skin, they’re angry that everything they fought against on foreign soil is now happening here on their very own. Veterans will tell you that on the battlefield there was no white, black or brown only green. That mentality kept them alive. Their anger and frustration is because the country they loved seems to be defined only by color today.
I don’t know for 100% certainty that Iraq & Afghanistan veterans provided security last week in Charlottesville for disgusting hate-filled Neo-Nazis as Mr Fagin says. But what I do know is that he was completely off the mark to allude that our country is creating PTSD racist veterans who are easily recruited by dredges of society who’s only mission is to divide this country based on skin color.

Mr. Fagin, personally I think you should apologize for your remarks but at the very least I think you should get out of your music studio more often and actually go out and meet the brave men and women you have lumped together with the scum of society. And lastly, should you ever find yourself in a situation where wrong & more wrong are clashing in the streets and your safety is in danger you better hope there’s a combat veteran around because standing behind them will be the safest place you can find.”

We are facing more stupidity in our nation than one would think possible, they should not only be ashamed of the article but for adding more lies and hate to fuel their agenda, they should be shutdown.

I understand that the Huff Post is all about left wing agendas, they feel entitled to run their mouths and stand behind their rights that protect them to do so.   Funny, they have forgotten that it is those of us who served our nation, that have protected their freedoms and their rights.

I could care less how Fagin attempts to back track and defend what he wrote, it is right there in black and white and he cannot take back what is already down range.

Fagin, you are nothing more than a pathetic gut maggot that lacks a spine and a real world education.  It is easy to sit back and use the left mentality to spew lies and hate, to verbally attack United State military vets.  It takes far more courage to stand for the truth and fight racism and hate, clearly Fagin is incapable due to lack a complete lack of ethics and valor.

The Antifa mentality is to simple use racism and hate to divide the people, to be honest, as a military vet, I will do my due diligence to educate and unite and protect our great nation and civilians against gutter trash such as yourself.

God Bless.
