Breaking News From ICE DIRECTOR… California Governor To Be PROSECUTED!!

On Jan. 1, California became the first so-called “sanctuary state” in the nation, welcoming illegal aliens seeking protection from federal authorities, but it may not work out as Gov. Jerry Brown intended.

The acting director for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Thomas Homan, had quite a bit to say on the topic when asked about Brown’s brazen move to defy the President’s tough stance on immigration, and Governor “Moonbeam” isn’t going to be happy about it. According to Fox News, Homan said that Brown “better hang on tight” because the federal government, more specifically ICE, isn’t about to let California’s governor dictate federal law.

Homan appeared on Neil Cavuto’s show on Fox, and the host said that Gov. Moonbeam claims the law will protect illegal invaders living quietly in the shadows of our society from law enforcement determined to “yank them out of there.” However, Homan wasn’t buying it one bit.

“I think it’s terrible,” he said, before adding that this is purely a political move by Brown, and that rank-and-file law enforcement are strongly opposed to the measure because it places them in danger.

He also said Brown didn’t consult law enforcement before enacting the law.

“If [Brown] thinks he is protecting the community, he’s doing quite the opposite,” Homan said. “[Brown] is knowingly putting law enforcement at risk.”

Homan the fired a shot directly across Brown’s bow, letting him know that his decision just opened the flood gates for ICE to do the job Brown is prohibiting police from doing.

“There’s no sanctuary from law enforcement,” he said. “California better hold on tight – they’re about to see a lot more deportation officers. If politicians don’t protect their communities then ICE will.”

Homan also stated that Brown has now “bit off more than he can chew” because smugglers will take advantage of the law as a “selling point.” Additionally, according to Homan, Brown appears to have violated federal law.

Fox News has more [emphasis added]:

Homan said that Brown and other sanctuary-jurisdiction leaders may have violated 8 U.S. Code § 1324 – relating to “harboring certain aliens.”

He said he hopes the Justice Department will look into whether officials can be criminally charged under the statute.

According to text of the federal law cited by Homan, any person “knowing… the fact that an alien has come to… the United States in violation of the law, conceals, harbors or shields from detection… such [an] alien in any place” can face fines and/or up to several years in prison.

Yikes. That’s really bad news for these radical leftist politicians attempting to subvert U.S. law.

It’s not just Homan who’s unhappy with Brown’s recent politically-motivated decision either. Yesterday we reported that anonymous residents around the state placed signs mocking California’s new sanctuary law, which stated that it’s now an “official sanctuary state” that welcomes “felons, illegals and MS13,” because “Democrats need the votes!” the signs read.

Breaking News Out Of CALIFORNIA, Even’ We’re SHOCKED… Hell Freaking YES!

Now, let’s just pray that Attorney General Sessions awakens from his coma and starts cracking down on these lawless politicians.
