As Orlando focuses on the tragic terror attack that took place on June 12th, families are still waiting to hear from loved ones that were at the nightclub. At this time, 50 dead and 53 in the hospital, this is officially the worst terror shooting in U.S. history.

Orlando is left with questions and is scrambling to make sense of this Islamic terror attack that has shocked the nation to its very core.  The gunman started his shooting @ 2:02 a.m. and Orlando Swat team entered the nightclub @ 5 a.m. So for 3 hours the gunman was actively shooting and held approximately 30 hostages.

Within hours of the press release of the horrific terror attack, Senator Geraldine F. Thompson didn’t waste her time in getting her interview on FOX NEWS LIVE.  Senator Thompson spoke more about anti-gun rhetoric and less about the horrific terror attack that claimed 50 American lives.

Senator Thompson spoke to Fox News and her ramblings made no logical sense as she kept stating about military assault rifles on her streets and military magazines and military ammo. Senator Thompson went on to say that she will fight even harder to ensure these military assault rifles can’t get into the hands of citizens and that the Republicans do not care.  As she was wrapping up, she seemed to scramble to talk about the tragedy and how she cares for the families who have lost loved ones in this shooting.

Senator Thompson also refused to call this as a Hate Crime or a terrorist attack by Islam.

Senator Thompson also was the one back in August of 2015 that filed a bill to, “prohibit the display of the Confederate flag on any owned or leased state property”.

“In Walton County and many other locations in Florida, officials still fly the Confederate flag proudly” said Sen. Thompson, who represents Orlando’s District 12. Last week, the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce decided not to hold a long scheduled conference in Walton County next year due to the county’s failure to remove a Confederate flag from its courthouse.

Thompson said “if enacted, this bill will require State, county, and local municipalities to remove the flag off their properties, we can’t wait on them to make good faith decisions.”

The Confederate flag is still problematic, Senator Thompson said, citing the fact that George Zimmerman recently proposed selling prints of a Confederate flag painting. Allegedly, a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Boys and Girls Club and a Florida gun store owner who is facing a lawsuit after declaring his business “Muslim free.” Officials with the Boys and Girls Club say they will accept no funds from Zimmerman.

Senator Thompson is part of the Democratic party of the state of Florida.  Senator Thompson wasted little time in pushing the anti-gun agenda of the Democratic party instead of focusing on the terror attack itself. American lives were tragically taken by Islamic terrorism, in the worst shooting terror attack in U.S. history.

As Orlando Florida struggles to make sense of this horrific event, the rest of the nation awaits to hear from the Islam supporter himself, Obama.

God Bless.
