Internet ERUPTS After Obama Caught In DAMNING Act RIGHT Before Welcoming Castro’s Criticism

As Barack Obama continues to tout his trip to Cuba as a “historic” achievement for his presidency, America collectively shakes their heads at the fact our president is pandering to a communist dictator. As if opening diplomatic relations with a nation known for its civil rights violations isn’t already bad, Obama was caught in a damning act just before he openly welcomed criticisms of America from Raul Castro, the brutal communist dictator.

While we can give Obama credit for the trip being a “first” of its kind in recent history, some of the other “firsts” that have taken place aren’t exactly things to be proud of.

One such first is what happened when he initially met Castro after getting snubbed by him at the airport, when Obama showed an ear-to-ear grin as he shook hands with the dictator.

This is actually the first time we’ve seen Obama cheesin’ so hard while meeting the leader of another nation. It’s just too bad he doesn’t do so while meeting with our allies. You know, like Benjamin Netanyahu.

Another historic first for Obama while visiting the island nation would be what happened sometime before he posed for a photo-op with Castro, which was shortly before the communist criticized our nation on live television – and Obama welcomed it.

In a candid photo taken while Obama wasn’t looking, the U.S. commander-in-chief appears to be bowing to Castro as he shakes his hand. While it’s not the first time Obama has bowed to a world leader (see the video below of when he met the Saudi king), it is the first time a sitting U.S. president has bowed to a communist dictator.

Shortly after the two initially met, they held a joint press conference in which Castro blasted America, and Obama gleefully agreed with his remarks. Video of Obama’s shocking reaction to Castro’s criticism of the U.S. is below:

“President Castro, I think, has pointed out that in his view making sure that everybody is getting a decent education or health care, has basic security and old age, that those things are human rights as well,” said Obama. “I personally would not disagree with him.”

Obama went on to say that he hopes that America can “learn” from the brutal regime. Although he didn’t exactly clarify what it is he wanted to learn.

So while Obama’s trip has in fact been historic, it appears to be for all the wrong reasons, and it’s definitely highlighted Obama’s anti-American ideology. After all, a patriotic president doesn’t bow to foreign dictators, they don’t give credibility to communist regimes, and they certainly don’t welcome criticism from dictators who have horrible records on human rights.

Only progressives who embrace totalitarian Marxists do such things, which says everything we need to know. Now doesn’t it.
