It seems the Woman’s March to DC massively supported by the left both in Hollywood and in Washington shared Russian propaganda. Interesting that they are the ones that have continuously pushed the narrative that the Russians interfered with the election yet when we get down and dirty with the research and actual facts it is the left that actually was in bed with the Russians. Project much?

A popular Instagram account known as @feminism_tag promoted a militant form of feminism but was actually run by Russian operatives, was shared many times by the Women’s March on social media.  The account had tens of thousands of followers.

An investigation into the Kremlin’s cyber operations by Russian media outlet RBC named this account as among those operated by the Russians. The account has since been deleted from Instagram, however archived versions of the account show it had at least 46,000 followers as of March 2017.  According to RBC some $2.2 million was spent with coverage of up to 70 million reached per week through various social media outlets in an effort to sway the election towards the left and towards Hillary Clinton.

The Instagram account propagated and promoted the popular left-wing feminist rhetoric peddling first world fictional oppression about how women do not have equal rights in America. The account description describes their mission as follows – “We fight to achieve equal political, economic, cultural, personal, and social rights for women!”

The Women’s March Facebook page listed the now deleted Instagram account for credit for many posts sharing Russian propaganda to its followers. Russians sought to encourage, inflame, exploit, and perpetuate the gender and racial divide in America.  They sought to use identity politics in the United States to foment division among the American people using hot-button topics like race relations and policing to promote inflammatory positions. The Russian accounts targeted areas known to be hubs of racial dissent and activism utilizing pro-Black Lives Matter rhetoric and messaging.

Black Lives Matter ads appeared on Facebook at some point in late 2015 or early 2016 and it appears the ad was meant to appear both as supporting Black Lives Matter but also could be perceived as threatening to some residents of Baltimore and Ferguson.

Other accounts impersonated militant Islamic groups pushing anti-American or pro-Muslim messages with the intention of fomenting division amongst Muslims within the United States. There are also reports these same Russian operatives targeted Native American groups with regard to the massive protest against the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota, further stirring up controversy in an already contentious situation.

BuzzFeed reports –

An Instagram account called @Native_Americans_United_ shared images related to Native American social and political issues — including the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, the flashpoint for activists from all over the country, but especially Native Americans.

RBC, a Russian outlet, identified that account as one of 180 connected to a Russian troll farm intent on exploiting existing divisions and social movements in the United States, based on a major investigation into the operations of Russia’s Internet Research Agency.
